Announcement
My name is Kaz Baildon and I have a home studio in my garden in Grappenhall, Cheshire UK.
I started to make jewellery in 2005 and have been creating lampwork beads since 2007. All my lampwork beads are annealed in my digital kiln straight from the flame and I guarantee the quality.
I have recently started to work with copper and enamels to make jewellery components. I work with an enamelling kiln. All my enamels are counter-enamelled (enamelled on the backs) with two coats of enamel and then I use two or three coats of enamels plus other embellishments on the fronts.
I have made murrini for my own use and for others since 2009. I started to make murrini because I could not find exactly what I wanted - repeatable designs that had good definition, were inexpensive and easy to use. I hand-pull all my murrini myself from a range of CoE104 glass, including some of the rarer and more expensive ones. I test each recipe myself and have them tested by other beadmakers too. Have a look at my positive feedback to see how good my murrini are! I have added a video to You Tube showing how to apply my murrini to beads and you can find it here:
