Hello and welcome!! I started KD-Quilts 11 years ago when I decided to take my quilting to the next level. Creating has always been a part of who I am. My sewing started in high school with the standard sew a pillow and pair of shorts in home ec. I went to school to be a teacher, but left the classroom once my oldest son was born. That is where I really started sewing seriously.
I always had a love for fabric and pattern. I was buying up Anna Maria and Tula with no plans, but I needed those prints. Combining a deep love for cozy and a beautiful fabric collection, naturally a quilter was born!
Over the past 11 years I’ve contributed to books, magazines, blog tours, released several patterns independently and created numerous tutorials. After a life hiatus where my family needed me, I am back full time not only continuing with my memory quilts but back to creating tutorials and patterns for all of you!!
