Bead Love...

Hello and welcome! I live with my DH and DC (cat) by the water in the Pacific Northwest where cloudy days are perfect for working in my studio. When I'm not beading, I enjoy reading, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. Just hanging out eating crabbie patties or picking blueberries from the garden in summer or smelling the cedar and saltwater breezes the rest of the year.

All sorts of beads and findings just seem to find their way into my studio (naughty Etsy suppliers!) and I'll play with anything that sparks my interest when I go in there.

I often create jewelry with unusual or vintage items whose well worn history makes them unique and endearing. Please be aware that they may have some patina, minor scratches or wear from the original owners. I just LOVE playing with my shiny bits and have been making and selling jewelry since my nursing school days. Now the "R" in RN stands for retired and I have more time, more commitment and MORE BEADS! Accckkk!.

Seriously tho', I hope you enjoy my creations because I put a lot of thought into them. ...Now it's time to share them with you!

Hello! Thanks for looking over my Shop Policies.

I often create jewelry with unusual or vintage items whose well worn history makes them unique and endearing. Please be aware that they may have some patina, minor scratches or wear from the original owners. Although each piece is one of a kind, if you see a sold item that you like, I might just be able to create something similar. Or if you need the piece shorter, longer...just ask!

Accepted payment methods

Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
I understand that you can't tell what something is really like until you hold it in your hands. I want you to be excited with your purchase! If for any reason you are unhappy with it, I will be glad to offer an exchange or credit as long as the item is returned to me in 7 days in the same condition as it was shipped. If there is any problem or issue, please convo me immediately so we can figure out how to "fix it." Positive feedback is very important to me. I want you to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

With proper care, your jewelry should bring you years of enjoyment. If your jewelry should be damaged due to manufacturing conditions, I will repair any of my jewelry items free of charge up to six months after purchase.

I cannot refund for lost or stolen packages, so again...think about insurance especially on more expensive items.
I prefer Paypal. You can still pay by credit card thru Paypal without opening an account with them. Here's how: I don't accept personal checks or Money Orders.

Layaway: Can't afford the whole thing right this moment? Please contact me before you purchase the item in order to set up a 3 payment schedule. The item will be shipped after full payment is received.

Coupons: From time to time I may offer specials or sales. It is the buyer's responsibility to use the coupon code during the checkout process BEFORE clicking on "Submit Order," as I can't give you the discount "after the fact." (I can't rewrite ETSY software, durn it!) Here's how:

Washington residents will be charged state tax
Domestic: I will ship by USPS and will send you an email with the tracking number when it ships. Make sure your ETSY address is correct, as that will be the shipping destination. Contact me if you have any questions.

International: Contact me first to determine shipping costs. I'll ship it to you, but it might be costly. The buyer is responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes that may be charged.

I highly recommend insurance; as once it leaves my hands, I can no longer be held responsible for it traveling off into the Mailing Ether! Insurance is a separate cost not included in the shipping fee. Please contact me prior to purchase so I can adjust the cost.

All my items will come well packaged in a gift box for you or someone special!
Additional policies and FAQs
"CARE AND FEEDING" of your jewelry:

*Please remove before exercising, showering, swimming or immersion in water. Try to keep it from contact with lotions, perfumes or makeup.

*Silver, copper, bronze or brass will develop a patina over time. You can very gently refresh it with a polishing cloth. Beads and pearls can be cleaned gently with a slightly damp soft cloth without chemicals or cleaners. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners as they are too harsh on some "stones" such as turquoise, bone or pearls.

*Store out of direct sunlight preferably in a protected pouch to prevent tarnish or scratches.

*Crimp beads used used to secure beading wire in some of my pieces can only withstand so much tugging or pulling before they break, so please avoid that!
