Gift wrapping and packaging
See our info. about our giftwrapping service. Let us know the occasion and the wording on the gift enclosure and we will wrap it with unique giftwrap and vintage trims. Convo. us for details.
How do you pack for shipping?
We pack with care! We have sold over 2200 orders and only three have got damaged. We care for the planet so we use reused packaging when possible such as boxes from retail stores, reused packing materials and enviro. friendly options such as biodegradable shipping beans and plain newsprint. Our focus is on getting it there safely and if you want it to look pretty convo. us about giftwrapping.
Do you offer bulk shipping or combo. shipping? Or reduced prices on orders of multiple items?
Yes! We offer combo. shipping on all orders of more than one item! Simply put more than one item in your cart and it will appear automatically. Note that sometimes it doesnt seem to work so if you want a quote ahead of time, convo. us. For USA orders of over $35. the shipping is free, for Canadian orders of over 46 CAD, the shipping is free! If you are putting together a special occasions or want a bulk price, convo. us. Thanks
Do you clean the vintage items?
Yes we endeavor to clean all items, We we live in and store in smoke free locations. We are cat friendly so items that come via our home - to be washed or photographed are in contact with cats.
Are flaws described?
Yes, we endeavour to describe all small blemishes eg. manufacturing flaws , crazing, etc. We also try to photograph them so you will know prior to your purchase. If we miss a flaw while photographing, cleaning or inventorying, then we will let you know if we find one later, prior to shipping it out. Please read the descriptions and look at the pictures as the vintage items are sometimes used and sometimes from store inventories of new old stock vintage. We state this in the descriptions!
Shipping times
Parcels to Canada are done expedited mail or letter mail depending on size.
Parcels to the US are sent small air mail or expedited depending on size.
Parcels to other countries are sent surface parcel post or letter mail depending on size.
These are all the most economic services. If you require a quicker service, please convo. us for an estimate.
Canada post is not currently guaranteeing shipping times due to the pandemic. The above stated times may be much longer depending on time of year and covid impacts on the postal systems. We cannot guarantee time as a small business using this postal sytem.
Do you put items on hold?
Yes, we will hold items for seven days.
What is your free shipping to USA and Canada
Shipping to USA addresses is free for orders totalling 35 USD or higher
Shipping to Canadian addresses if free for orders totalling 46 USD or higher.
We cannot offer free shipping to International addresses but do offer combo. shipping.
