Exclusive Handmade Quality Jewellery Stands Out

Sheffield, United Kingdom

Announcement    All the Jewellery at UK based Kelandy Designs is hand made in a personal studio. Volume is small to maintain quality and each piece is designed to be unique or the most popular designs made in very small numbers. Over the last 3 years I have started to specialise in the addition of Cremation Ashes into jewellery to create very meaningful memorial pieces, these can be viewed in the shop. (It is only possible to sell pieces created using Pet Ashes on the Etsy platform, but a link is provided to make contact with us should you require human ashes to used). We work in various media, mostly, Sterling Silver and Fine Silver derived from Silver clay, and Jeweller’s Resin often combined with Silver. Some pieces utilise subtle 24ct gold plating and only quality ethically sourced gemstones are used. All silver above the exemption limit is hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office. We like to be ‘different’ at times. Our beaded bracelet and earring designs are also very popular with discerning clients.
Postage to you on completion of your order if free and depending upon value, is either Special Delivery, or Tracked & Signed 1st Class. For International orders, it will be sent ‘International Tracked & Signed’
Please note: During the current Covid19 crisis, Royal Mail is experiencing some delays which are unavoidable from the vendors position.

Exclusive Hand-made Quality Jewellery Stands Out

All the Jewellery at UK based Kelandy Designs is hand made in a personal studio. Volume is small to maintain quality and each piece is designed to be unique or the most popular designs made in very small numbers. We work in 2 main media, Sterling Silver and Fine Silver derived from Silver clay. Some pieces utilise subtle 24ct gold plating and only quality ethically sourced gemstones are used.

Guarantee of Quality
When work is completed, each piece above the exemption weight is sent to Sheffield Assay Office for testing, verification and hallmarking. The Assay Office will reject any item described as silver if it is found not to be 925 Sterling Silver or .999 Fine Silver on testing. They will then laser engrave the hallmark. Each hallmark has five marks, the 'Sponsor's Mark' (in Andy's case 'AS'), the fineness mark (925 in the case of Sterling Silver, 999 for Fine Silver), the Assay Office Mark (Yorkshire Rose for Sheffield Office), the Lion Passant (the mark for Silver), and a year letter (currently 'V' for 2020). Sometimes, under-weight pieces are also hallmarked even though not required.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders

The sending of any personal items (such as ashes for cremation jewelry) required for inclusion in a custom piece of jewellery, is the responsibility of the customer and may include additional customs or import charges levied when coming into the UK. While ashes don't usually attract any additional charge, if you choose to ship by Express Couriers for example via a private courier, UK Customs & Excise may require Import VAT for me to receive them. Evidence will be provided to the customer of any charges levied and paid by Kelandy Designs in order to receive your items through the UK Customs system, and payment will be required in respect of reimbursement of these charges before your finished items are dispatched to your respective country.

Sizing details

Sizing is important when making individual rings. While some ‘resizing’ is possible in some cases, those rings containing an inlay cannot be resized without having to redo any inlay that is already in place. It is therefore imperative that a correct size is provided before the ring is completed, especially for inlaid ashes rings. There is a sizing chart for various countries with the equivalent UK size in the last picture of all the ring adverts. If in doubt, please try to pop into a jeweller to confirm your size before ordering.

Requests for Memorial Jewellery with Human Ashes

Etsy policies don’t not allow the sale of jewellery with human ashes so all the adverts for memorial jewellery at Kelandy Designs are for Pet Ashes.
However, Etsy does allow me to provide a link for you to contact me if you would like to further discuss having the same style of jewellery made with the ashes of a loved one who has passed.
In this situation if you could please send an email to
kelandydesigns @gmail.com
I will be able to take this forward for you there and provide the same type of jewellery with the ashes of your choice.

Importance of Correct Delivery Instruction

It is the customer's sole responsibility to provide address details which are accurate and correct for the delivery of any ordered items. Any failure to deliver as a result of incorrect information such as address, house number, postcode etc is the responsibility of the customer to follow up with the postal carrier. Any additional costs as a result of failed delivery by virtue of incorrect information being supplied, re-making of an item by customer request following a failed delivery and / or re-delivery to a different address or address altered or changed from the original address information supplied by the customer will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
