If the one thing I become known for is for creating a bird with a dog's head - then so be it.

I was first introduced to Photoshop during my studies in 3D animation and instantly fell in love. A number of years later, I became interested in photography and enrolled in a digital photography program where I acquired an in-depth knowledge of the software. Those were good times.

In one of my favorite courses, Surrealism, we learned how to seamlessly merge different objects. Of course I couldn't wait to see what I could come up with and found a picture I'd taken of a pug (my favorite breed) and a great shot of a chickadee eating from my own hand. Somehow, the two images worked very well together and after much amusement, Chickapug was born!

To this day, this image is my best seller. Furthermore, demand for Chickapug in various formats (including black & white and sepia) has allowed me to expand my shop so that I now carry large format photography, cards, magnets and canvas prints. It even motivated me to create a section of "Oddities" featuring similar works like Sir Chauncey Meerkat and Leopold the Llama so that he wouldn't be so lonely.

I still have impulses to create the less-than-strange, so rest assured you will also find photography featuring my travels to Paris, London and other places, as well as the wonderful city I call home - Montreal. Thanks for stopping by. :)
