I was expecting these to be dainty (which I'm not). So pleased when they arrived today because they're the ideal size for me and so very cleverly made.

About the artist
Our earth is a pretty amazing place. Not only is it spectacularly beautiful, it has given us all life, the ability to nourish, grow and heal. Each human on this planet experiences the pleasures of life in different ways. Perhaps you like to work with your hands, working in the soil, Perhaps your soul is touched by sound or music. Perhaps you have experienced being transported in time or to a favorite memory by a smell. If you are me, the world is all about color and texture; in other words, I am a visual person. I see beauty in color and texture everywhere. My jewelry style is all over the place and encompasses several mediums. I am always searching for the best way to showcase my color ideas or that special stone. My designs include wirework, macramé, and bead stringing. While I prefer to work with natural and semi-precious stone, you will also see lampwork glass, pearls, ceramics, wood and even some Swarovski crystals in my designs, just to name a few. What they all have in common is that they were all inspired by the colors seen in our world everyday.
I grew up and currently live in northern California. I have been making jewelry for over 30 years and am primarily self taught, but have taken a few courses along the way to help perfect and expand my skills. Many of the natural stones you see in my work were dug up from the earth by my former in-laws, either polished by them or myself, and is now a piece of one of-a-kind jewelry to enjoy. I do not claim to be a stone or lapidary specialist and have tried my best to label the stones accurately, but most are my best guess and are probably some sort of agate or quartz. To me, each one is a little treasure.
I hope you will like what you see and treat yourself or someone you care about to that special little something! I welcome your comments, questions or feedback. Please drop me an e-mail at earth.expressions [!at]

Rather than incur the cost of a professional photographer and pass the cost onto you, I have worked hard on capturing the color and detail of each piece in photographs for you. Since I understand that it is difficult to capture the true essence of certain materials and details, I do accept returns. Please refer to that section for more information.

Additional policies and FAQs
Availability of items:
Since I enjoy working with natural stone, shell and art glass, etc., pieces are often difficult to duplicate. Therefore, my inventory is primarily made up of ‘one-of-a-kind’ items. On the plus side, this means you can enjoy the pleasure of owning an original design, something you won’t see anywhere else! The risk is that if you don’t act quickly, you could lose out on that special ‘one-of-a-kind’ item . If this happens, you can send me an e-mail at earth.expressions [!at] and inquire if there is any possibility it can be duplicated or if I could design something similar.
