Hi, my name is Tanya, and I created my brand, KERIKA Apparel, a few years ago. I have always liked my middle name, Kerika, so I used it for the brand.
I love fashion and beauty. I worked for many years as a Makeup Artist. I have always looked for cute clothes that represent my homeland of Jamaica, but I quickly got tired of the Jamaica flag tee shirts or leggings. I wanted something cuter and more modern. I wanted clothes that show my pride in my culture.
With the help of my Haitian graphic designer husband (Jamaican by Marriage), I was able to put my ideas into fruition, and KERIKA Apparel was born.

KERIKA Apparel is a Black Owned Business that draws from Caribbean Culture, especially Jamaica, for inspiration and creativity but celebrates modern Black Culture from around the world.
