I have a passion for illustrating in fabric, and for years have exhibited and sold in fine art galleries. I opened this shop to share my art with a broader audience.

My original artworks are all my own unique designs. Some are very complex. However, now I'm also designing patterns for all levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) of artists, crafters, quilters, scrapbookers, and DIY lovers.

I put hours of effort into writing and illustrating my pattern instructions to make them easy to understand and follow. Each pattern is pre-tested by friends and family to ensure you get the most enjoyment when creating my designs.

PERSONAL LICENSE
This license enables the purchaser to use the purchased artwork for personal use. The following terms still apply:
• All digital artwork must be purchased before use for any personal or commercial purpose.
• Purchased digital artwork is valid for the purchaser only. It may not be shared with any other users.
• Purchased artwork may be used for an unlimited number of personal prints, one (1) personal website, and one (1) personal social media account.
• By purchasing my digital artwork, you are purchasing the permission to use my artwork, not the copyright to the artwork itself.
• Copyright for all artwork is retained by Kestrel Michaud.
• Purchased artwork MAY NOT be used for commercial purposes whatsoever UNLESS credit is given to me and a link to my shop is provided next to the artwork or in the item description. Formatting must be as follows:

COMMERCIAL LICENSE
This license enables the purchaser to use the purchased artwork for commercial purposes WITHOUT giving credit to Kestrel Michaud. The following terms still apply:
• All digital artwork must be purchased before use for any personal or commercial purpose.
• Purchased digital artwork is valid for the purchaser only. It may not be shared with any other users.
• Purchased digital artwork may not be published or resold as digital files.
• Purchased artwork may not be published or resold as a physical end product unless significantly altered from the original licensed artwork in a way that requires time, effort, and skill to produce. The end product must not derive primary value from the originally licensed artwork itself.
• This license is valid for an unlimited quantity of printed advertisements for use within a local market. Artwork purchased with this license may be used with one (1) business website and one (1) business social media account.
• By purchasing my digital artwork, you are purchasing the permission to use my artwork, not the copyright to the artwork itself.
• Copyright for all artwork is retained by Kestrel Michaud.


PATTERN UPDATE POLICY
I occasionally go back and make changes to my published patterns. Changes can be as small as fixing typos or as large as adding new content. If you have already purchased a pattern that I later update, and you are unable to download it through your Etsy account, message me and I will be happy to send the newest files to you free of charge.

PATTERN LICENSE

• You may sell any project you create using one of my patterns.
