I cannot thank you enough. This gift that symbolizes faith was not for me it was as I said a "gift " for a friend of mine who has stage four pancreatic cancer . I'm devastated and I know what all the doctor say but I also know what God says and he says if we have faith they the size of a mustard seed that we can move mountains so I believe that she can be healed . here's what she said to me rather an excerpt of what she said (see photo) she absolutely loves that and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

About

Glass Half Vintage

As a glass artist, I get lost in swirls when I make my glass beads. I enjoy the process of balancing texture, color, and movement in the jewelry that I create, always striving for the delight that comes from surprise. I enter my process 'out of the box', creating unusual shapes, colors, and embellishments when I make my glass beads. Then, when I assemble my jewelry, I enjoy unlikely combinations. I became a tad obsessed with vintage pocket knives, Crackerjack toys, small tools, and other 'junk drawer' stash, so I began incorporating these odd elements into my work. Glass Half-VIntage perfectly describes the whimsical juxtaposing of old and new, precious and trash.

I am also a painter. I discovered Alcohol Inks act like watercolors, but can be painted on glass and porcelaine. It was a perfect direction for me to refuel my exploration of color. I get lost in this process as well, traveling through the delight of this somewhat uncontrollable medium. Along the journey, I discover colors combining in unusual ways, and often find myself recovering from the peril of an accidental drip or spill. Painting in alcohol ink is like taking a giant leap of faith, traveling through layers of color until I suddenly land in a place I have already been.

Whatever medium I find myself working in ( I do large public installations in recycled plastic too!) the common thread is color. I am forever fueled by color and draw great pleasure in inviting others to share in my joy.

In 2002 I was swept by the palette of Venetian glass rods. I was thrilled with this colorful new medium. I hand wire my jewelry. I like how the wire celebrates each bead by framing it. Similarly, I frame my ink paintings, giving them import & place.
