Simple, delicate jewellery, handmade in Devon

I work from my little seaside studio in Devon, England. I've had my shop here on Etsy since 2007, but have been making jewellery for about 15 years now.

Over the years, I've experimented with many different techniques from traditional beadwork to lampworking and precious metal clay. My current collection features designs that are very simple and delicate, often using raw, unpolished gemstones and hand cut stones on fine chains, or silk or nylon cord. I like to create pieces that can either be worn alone or stacked and layered for a more opulent look.

My shop name derives from my love of the sea and ancient mythology. Kianda was a sea goddess; the guardian of the Atlantic Ocean. In return for offerings of jewellery thrown into the sea, she would ensure a good catch for local fisherman and safe journeys for seafarers.

When I'm not making jewellery, I'm working on my other business as a wildlife and pet portrait artist. You can see some of my work if you click on the Instagram link below.

Please get in touch if you have any questions about my work. I hope you enjoy looking through my shop :)

Frequently asked questions
Will I receive the exact item shown in the photos?

Unless stated in the listing that the item is one-of-a-kind, the piece pictured will be a sample item. Your own piece of jewellery will be made especially for you using the materials described and will be as close to the original as it's possible to get.

Do you do Custom Orders?

At the moment, I am only doing Custom Orders for variations on current designs that are in my shop. Any Custom Orders that I agree to do will require a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance being payable on completion of the project.

How long will my order take to arrive?

UK Orders ~ Most items are sent using First Class Signed For so will arrive 1-2 business days after being dispatched. Items over £50 will be sent by Special Delivery and will arrive the next working day after dispatch.

International Orders ~ Standard Airmail takes around 5 business days for Europe and 7-10 business days to the US and everywhere else. International Tracked is slightly faster. Please note that due to Customs hold-ups and other circumstances beyond my control, occasionally packages do take longer to arrive. Royal Mail do not consider a package to be missing until 25 business days after the due date has passed.

International Tracked is available as an optional extra. There are no tracking details for packages sent by Airmail

Gift wrapping and packaging

Most of my jewellery is packaged in recycled card gift boxes tied with satin ribbon unless stated in the description. Marking your order as a Gift means that a special packing note with no pricing details will be included, although for International non-EU customers, the price will still be shown on the customs declaration.
