5 out of 5 starsI've wanted to own a piece of Kristen's pottery for several years. My covered jar arrived promptly safe and sound. The jar is even more beautiful in person. As a hobby potter, I love and respect the detail Kristen puts into her work. Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise with me, Kristen.

5 out of 5 starsPure sunshine, and it's a joy to use: The exterior is a soft semi-matte glaze, and the inside is the same color but glossy. That makes it easy to see if it's clean. The attention to detail also shows in the handle, it is so comfortable to hold. Thoughtfully created and so sweet, thank you!
About KiefferCeramics

Most everything in my shop begins with me throwing on my potter's wheel.
-
I design and make the stamps I use on some pots and enjoy the undulating result.
-
I put great care in every part of the process, here hand-brushing color into a stamp pattern.
-
A kiln load of pots from many weeks of work ready to post on Etsy, ship to a gallery, or sell at my studio sale.
-
In addition to making everything, I'm also the photographer, shipper, and marketer.

Sales Tax
Residents of Massachusetts, and states requiring it will be charged sales tax per state requirement regardless of seller's location.
Shipping & Overages
Shipping includes the actual cost to ship a well-packaged, ceramic object via USPS or UPS, as well as packing and materials. If costs are less than what I've listed to your location, I will refund overages.
Please make sure that your purchase is going to a secure location. I am not responsible for stolen packages.
Care instructions
Your new piece is both elegant & intended for your use and enjoyment! Please follow the care instructions provided for your unique piece. Handmade pottery can need (and happily, deserves) a little more love to prolong its life than contemporary manufactured ware: Because of the abrasive nature of dishwashing detergent, which could eventually dull the surface over time, hand washing is not necessary, but recommended.
Please keep in mind that while my pottery is quite durable, it is still made from clay and can be damaged if dropped or knocked about. Often, flaws created during impact will not be detectable immediately. Impact flaws can develop into a crack or break with use over time.
I cannot replace ware damaged from use.
Custom and personalized orders
I don't usually take on commissions, but do take requests. If you see something in my shop but would like it in a different color in my current palette; would like something not currently available that I've sold in the recent past; or would like multiples in some variation, please email me so I can consider your request and explain the payment process. Please note, it can take from 1-3 months to complete depending on my schedule, and requires a deposit. These items cannot be returned.
Color & Dimensions
The item pictured is the exact pot available for purchase. I do my best to take photos portraying the actual color and quality of each item, as well as list the approximate dimensions (within ¼ - ½”). Please take the time to read the dimensions before purchasing, and drop me a convo if you still have questions. Note, computer screens can alter the actual colors.
Each item is top quality, unique, and individually handmade by me from an organic material, so sizes will vary slightly, and every so often there is a tiny iron beauty mark in the clay or glaze.
Conditions of Use
