~*~*~ Kimberly Dunlap Photography ~*~*~

Hello there!

My name is Kim Dunlap and I am a professional photographer based out of beautiful Washington state. My wonderful husband, Jeff, and I have a darling daughter, a sweet baby boy, a 150lb. pooch, and two fluffy felines. I grew up raising all types of animals on acreage, and while we currently live in a nice suburban neighborhood, I am very much looking forward to the day that I can finally stretch my legs on some land again!

My passion for photography began at a very young age, back in the days of the Polaroid instant camera's popularity. When I turned fourteen, my parents gave me my first professional-grade Nikon. I took a few photography classes in high school, but did not pursue art as a career at the time. Instead, I focused on subjects like science and the performing arts (percussion and wind instruments). After earning multiple degrees from Washington State University, I spent several years in the banking and real estate industries. At one point, I realized that I ought to be focusing on what truly brought me joy: my love of photography. I guess you could say that everything finally "clicked" for me! I specialize in landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, and floral photography.

While the majority of my photography takes place in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I also love to travel and capture images from around the world. By the age of nineteen, I had traveled to five of the world's seven continents, and I plan to make it to the remaining two (South America and Antarctica) within my lifetime.

My inspiration comes primarily from nature: a spectacular evening sky radiating with color, the first warm day in spring when the tulips raise their faces to the sun, a quiet moment observing a heron wading peacefully in the water in search of a fish... My hope is that my artwork will bring others as much joy in their own homes as I find through my lens!

Returns and exchange details
If you need to change or cancel your order, please notify me via e-mail within 2 hours of placing the order. I try to process orders as quickly as possible, and once the printing process has begun with my photo lab, I am unable to cancel or make any changes to an order.

As a small, home-based business, I do not have the ability to carry an inventory of prints beyond what I display at local art shows and festivals. Each print is a custom order through a professional lab that I contract with, and as they do not accept returns, I am unable to do so, too. Please double-check your item(s) to ensure that you have selected your preferred options (size, paper type, etc...) prior to submitting your order!

Although this is extremely rare, if you do receive an item that is damaged, please notify my within 48 hours and I will work with you and my professional print lab to resolve the issue.
I accept both PayPal and credit cards. Your print(s) will ship after your payment has cleared and they have been processed through my professional photo lab. Please contact me prior to placing an order if you have any questions about the checkout process or wish to request a custom order. I am happy to work with you!
Your print(s) will ship after payment has cleared. I will ship your order to the address listed on your Etsy receipt, so please make sure that it is correct prior to placing your order. I will have to charge for shipping a second time if a package is returned to me due to an incorrect address.

Although the majority of orders I receive do ship out quickly, express shipping is also available at an additional cost. Please contact me prior to making a purchase so that we can discuss the options.

I ship packages via USPS, FedEx, and UPS, depending upon the size of the prints and any expedited shipping options that we have arranged. If the carrier provides a tracking number, I will pass it along to you via e-mail as soon as I receive that information.

As it states on my listings, most prints are ready to ship within 3-5 days, while canvases may take up to 2-1/2 weeks to print and prepare for shipment. These estimates do not include the actual days "in transit" with the shipping carrier. As a mother of two young, and might I say, adorable children, I have included a little extra handling time in case I am unable to get your order into production immediately. With that said, I always do my best to process orders as quickly as possible, and many of my customers are surprised to receive their prints within just a few days of placing an order. My hope is that you will be very pleased with your experience! :)

At this time, we only offer shipping services within the United States.

Due to size constraints, we can only ship to physical addresses, not P.O. Boxes.
Additional policies and FAQs
In my shop, you will find a wide variety of photographs that ship as physical items (prints, canvases, framed artwork, etc...) along with a number of "digital downloads." Any digital (or instant) downloads you purchase will NOT be shipped as physical prints, but rather via e-mail as digital files.

After you purchase my digital art, you will immediately receive a high-resolution printable file in .jpg format via e-mail from Etsy. You can then download the file and print the artwork at home. You may also take it to a local print shop or have it printed by an online print lab.

As all computer monitors are calibrated differently, please note that the colors you see on your screen may differ slightly from the actual prints or products.

The copyright watermark that you see on my listings will NOT appear on any prints or digital files you purchase.

For digital downloads, the file you will receive is for your personal use only and is not to be shared, sold, or otherwise distributed. You may give the image as a gift, as long as it is in printed form and not as a digital file. All of my images, in both their printed and digital forms, are protected by copyright and are not for commercial use or sale.
