Shop policies

Last updated on June 28, 2013
I'm a local crafter/artist/hobbyist, and I'm not in 'business' to make money. My prices simply cover the costs of material and some of the time it takes to make the end product. I craft and sell for fun (and to cover my gas and food money).

See my shop's front page for other information not in my policies.

Returns and exchanges
If something has broken within the first 30 days, send it back for an exchange or repair. I charge $15 per hour for jewelry repair plus the cost of materials and shipping. For repairs, a new listing will be made for you detailing the repair, as well as new pictures and the costs of the repair included in the listing.
I accept PayPal and major credit cards.

As per Etsy's policy, items that aren't paid for in 3 days are relisted. This isn't to be mean. This is because if you haven't paid in 3 days then I have to assume you've changed your mind and no longer want the item. If you still want the item you can always put it in your shopping cart again =)

FRIENDS AND FAMILY: If you are someone who I know and you live locally, just bring me a check or cash for the amount you owe me.

COLORADO RESIDENTS: A sales tax is added to your order automatically.

I strive to ship your product within 3 business days of you paying for your order.

If the piece is not exactly what you wanted, return it to me, and I will send you a refund minus the shipping.

-Any customs fees are the buyer's responsibility. This shop also refuses to fudge or otherwise put falsehoods down on customs slips.
-Please check that the items you would like are not prohibited for shipment to your country:
Additional policies and FAQs
SHOP CLOSURE: This shop closes as soon as it reaches $950 in sales. The purpose of this is to keep the 'business' as crafter/hobby status in my state. I'm a teacher and I do this for fun, not for money.

SIZE ADJUSTMENT Most of my jewelry is made to fit a 6 inch wrist and a 13 inch neck.

I will be very happy to alter the lengths of necklaces and/or bracelets to fit your needs. Adjustments to length could result in further charges due to the additional costs of materials and time. Please contact me to discuss options.

In the past, I have done custom orders and custom repairs. In fact, that is where most of my in-person work comes from. I have tested my techniques and my designs, and I have built up a good amount of experience in jewelry. I’ve been making and repairing jewelry for friends and family since 2004.

PACKAGING If you would like gift wrapping, let me know. I can gift wrap each piece in a cardboard jewelry box with ribbon and/or paper for only $2 extra per item.

PHOTOGRAPHY I try to take the best, most accurate pictures of the products that I can. However, monitors of different computers vary in color display. If you would like more photos against different colors, let me know. I’ll be happy to oblige.

Please note that closeup shots can alter your perception of the size of the piece. Please pay attention to the size notations in the listings. If you would like an additional size reference, let me know. I’ll be happy to oblige.

TRADES: I love doing trades. I might consider trading with you if you have something I really like or need.
