This is truly as beautiful as promised -- a rare thing when purchasing kimono these days! And the black habutae silk of men's formal haori is soooo delicious. n nLadies, if you find women's haori a bit too small or insubstantial, do consider getting a man's garment like this one and wearing it inside-out. n nWould purchase from this dealer again in a heartbeat -- a lovely individual with an eye for beauty and a true respect for kimono culture. n nDomo arigato gozaimasu, Marion-san!

They are a glimpse of a different time and culture where life was slower and beauty and attention to detail paramount. I love them and it is fun to pick out special ones to share with you.

Payment is by Paypal and in US dollars only, New Zealand is at the bottom of the world and right now this is the easiest option I can find for me and also my customers.

I retain the right to cancel the sale if payment has not been received and cleared within 3 days. If no communication has been received regarding the sale then I will relist the item.
Please do not ask me to hold an item for any longer than a week.

Once payment is cleared in my account I will ship the item.

I also retain the right to refuse a sale to any countries with unstable and corrupt governments (eg: Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Zimbabwe, etc), as there is a risk that sent items may not reach the purchaser.
I use New Zealand Post, international airmail (fastpost) for shipping. Items usually take between 7-10 working days to arrive, (NZ is far away!) it is less time for Australia and New Zealand. I package all items very well.
I am happy to combine shipping costs on multiple purchases to save on postage, just let me know.

Please make sure your Etsy 'ship to' address is correct as this is the address I will ship to.

I cannot be responsible for items that go missing once I have shipped them, however I will do my best to track them down. If you have not received your item within the 7-10 working days period, please email me directly so I can try to sort it out. If your require additional insurance on your item, please let me know and I will let you know the costs.

I cannot be responsible for any international taxes or customs duties, this is the sole responsibility of the purchaser, please do not ask me to label your package as a 'gift'.

I will email you once the item has been sent, please let me know when you have received your item, I love to receive positive feedback!
Refunds and Exchanges
I take pride in my work and want it to be of the highest quality, I genuinely want my customers to be happy.

Please note, that the Kimonos I sell are vintage and for this reason there can be some discolorations etc. and the material sometimes is very delicate.

I do my best to accurately photograph and describe any discolorations, rips, holes etc.

I will always try to work something out if my customer is unhappy or feels an item does not match the description and photos.
I like being fair and kind! I would love to hear from you and get your feedback and comments etc.

I will refund for damaged items or items incorrectly listed. If there is a fault with your item, I will repair or replace for free (and refund shipping costs). If you are returning an item to be replaced or repaired, please do so within 4 days of receiving (unworn and in original condition).
