Additional policies and FAQs
All of the items are vintage. Even though I give my best to check each item, I'm not 100% immune to overlooking flaws, unfortunately. If you feel that there is a discrepancy between the description and the item you bought, please contact Kimonoxl and we will work something out. You can return any item that you don't like.

Since the items are vintage and oftentimes have been in storage for a long time, they might have a more or less noticeable musty or mothball-like chemical smell. Please be aware of this! Airing out a garment might get rid of the smell.

Japanese kimono items are - for the most part - not meant to be washed. Especially the silk items will suffer if you put water to them. Please only use a dry-cleaning service that you trust and consult them before handing garments in. Since cleaning kimono garments is a science in itself Maiti unfortunately cannot give advice on how to handle this.
