Welcome, and thank you for checking out my creations. I love the process of making things and strive to create beautiful, unique functional and sculptural objects out of glass, fiber, wood and other media.

I try to support small family farms by buying wool, alpaca and other fibers raw from the source. I raise my own silkworms, but the time involved to raise enough silk for my shawls would make my felted silk shawls cost-prohibitive, so I do use commercial silk roving. I do my own fiber dyeing using acid, procion or natural dyes.

My lampworked glass creations are made with borosilicate glass (pyrex). I work them in the flame then anneal them for added durability. They are strong! But if they suffer an accident (if you throw a glass knitting needle across the room or drop a book on them) and they break, I can repair them in most cases for the cost of shipping. There may be a small fee if you drop them down a cliff, stomp on them or in other words, break them really well and it's a lot of work to put them back together again. If they ever break through no fault of yours, I'll repair/replace them with no charge.

I happily take custom orders and will work with you to make something you love, satisfaction guaranteed.
Feel free to contact me with questions about my process, techniques, materials, etc...

Returns and exchanges
I want you to be happy, so any item is refundable within 7 days for the purchase price minus shipping costs (and you pay shipping back to me). I pack my glass very carefully and have not had any problems, but should anything arrive broken, I will either send replacements or I will pay for shipping back to me so I can repair them and resend them to you.
Payment
I prefer paypal payment, but contact me if you would like to arrange another form of payment. Checks accepted, but must be cleared before items are shipped.

For most custom orders, no down payment is required. After the custom item is made, I will message you with photographs and if you want it, I'll set it up on Etsy reserved for you. If not, no worries, I will set it up for general sale. Different arrangements will be made if you want something so strange that I'm not sure how it will sell :)
Shipping
I generally ship priority mail with delivery confirmation and get shipments out within 1-2 days of order placement. Items over $100 will be insured at my expense. Less expensive items can be insured at your request. If you would prefer 1st class shipping to save on costs, contact me and I'll adjust the listing for you. Earrings are only $2 to ship first class.

My shop is not currently set up to ship internationally, but I may be able to work with you if you live outside the United States and wish to purchase something. Send me a message and I will check on estimated cost, time, etc... It may take me longer to get out international shipments since I have to go in person to the post office for that.
