Announcement    Welcome!

Hand dyed yarn by King Becky is lovingly hand dyed at home in my studio. I am inspired by bold and beautiful colours that we see in our surroundings every day. My love for nature and living in a digital age have inspired me to play with neons and brights. I love using natural materials to knit with and creating bright colourways that will encourage others to create.

The dyeing processes that I use vary, I love playing with colours, hand painting, dip dyeing and kettle dyeing yarn. Each skein is dyed in stages, layering colours by kettle dyeing and hand painting.

I dye skeins in small batches of four at a time, dyeing mostly bright colours, and if you have a large project in mind please contact me so that I can make sure that you get skeins from the same lot, or I will dye a lot especially for you.

I use professional grade dyes in my studio and use cruelty free yarn wash to wash the yarn, which has not been tested on animals. All washed yarns are soaked in an essential oil bath after dyeing.

I love animals and live with a Manx tuxedo cat, who supervises (but doesn’t touch) the yarn and dyeing process.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!

Please note that due to the coronavirus pandemic there may be some delays to Royal Mail services at the moment. Items usually arrive within 2-4 days from postage, but some items are taking longer to arrive.

I send my orders with Royal Mail signed for 2nd class. If you require special delivery or signed for, please contact me before making the transaction; I will calculate the shipping cost and create a custom listing for you.

UK - Orders are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class post and should arrive within 2-4 days.
EUROPE - Orders are sent Airmail and should arrive within a week or two.
USA - Orders are sent via Royal Mail Airmail and should arrive within a week or two, but can sometimes take much longer, depending on security at customs/frequency of airmail flights etc. There are currently delays being experienced between the UK and the US at present with some mail taking up to 6 weeks or more to arrive.
REST OF THE WORLD - Orders are sent Airmail and should take a week or two to arrive.

I cannot deal with any claims for lost parcels until 15 WORKING (Mon - Fri) days have passed for UK orders, 20 working days for European orders and 25 working days for International orders. These are the guidelines set by Royal Mail and I cannot deal with missing parcels until this time.

Once a claim has been made I will arrange to send you a replacement, an alternative if no longer available or a refund.

A CN22 form has to be completed for all orders outside the EU and you are responsible for any import duties or taxes incurred on receipt of the parcel into your country.
