Announcement   Welcome to Kings Creek Pottery ~

I make pottery for everyday use (and I love doing it!). I use stoneware clay, which is quite durable, to create an earthy, rustic vibe in my pieces. The glazes are formulated in the studio and are food safe.

Each piece of pottery is created with care to ensure comfort and satisfaction. Handmade pottery made on the wheel ensures that each piece is unique and original. Many of my pieces are altered while on the wheel or at the leather-hard stage using a variety of tools and stamps.

Pottery is a wonderful gift - for newly married, bridal showers, holiday gifts, parents, teachers, college students, or for you! Treat yourself to using handmade pottery every day.

Please review my policies section (to the right) for details on shipping and gift options.

About

I am a part time potter with a full time passion!

I took pottery lessons as a kid and had some natural talent. My teacher asked if I would apprentice with her, which I did. However, my interest waned as I became preoccupied with boys and beer!

Many years later I decided to take lessons again and much to my surprise the talent was still there. I set up my studio the next year. Soon I was overrun with pots and had to find homes for them all. Kings Creek Pottery was born!

Thankfully people like my pottery and I am able to sell all over the country as a result. I also have a small shop on my property that is open seasonally. You can find out more about me through my website and follow studio happenings on my Facebook page.

Working out of my barn studio, I create functional stoneware pottery to love and use. I am a 55 year old woman living her dream in the country with my husband, two springer spaniels, and some sheep who visit during the summer months.

If you are purchasing a gift and want me to ship directly to that person, I can do that. Leave me the information (name and address) at check out. I will include a gift card with any message of your choosing. My business card and a 'How to Care for Pottery' sheet are included with every sale.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
Payment through Pay Pal, Etsy, or you can contact me to make other credit card arrangements.
Shipping
I ship in North America only, at this point. Shipping stoneware pottery can become exorbitant to ship beyond.

I use UPS or USPS for my shipping and will give you the cheapest rate I can find. Express shipping can be arranged and the cost will reflect that.

Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding shipping.

You are responsible for giving me the proper mailing address.

I work hard to get packages out within two business days of an order. Once the package has been mailed I cannot reroute or intercept it. You will still be responsible for full payment.
Refunds and Exchanges
Notify me immediately if work is damaged in the shipping process. You will need to send me a photograph and take the item to the post office to request a refund.

If you are not satisfied with the item I will gladly exchange it for you within 7 days of receipt for store credit. The customer is responsible for safe return of the item(s) and for shipping costs.
