Bringing old timbers to life.

Since 2014 Kirralee, Ash and Jordana have been making wooden wares for home and life using reclaimed timbers. We are passionate about bringing new life to materials that would have otherwise been discarded and re-presenting them as practical and minimal objects that can grow and change as you do.

Our timbers are sourced from a wide variety of places and circumstances, including kerbside pickup, purchased second hand, donated, found and collected. We are choosy with our timbers, using the high quality pieces for our products and the other timbers for complementary jobs in the shed such as templates and jigs.

Our workshed is off the grid, run by solar power and our sawdust is used as garden mulch so there is little wastage during production.

Everything in our shop is designed and hand made by us from our home workspace.

Additional policies and FAQs
Wood care:

Wood should not be submerged under water. Wipe with a damp cloth if cleaning is required.

The wood may expand or contract depending on the weather and other unpredictable conditions. If you are having trouble inserting or removing the test tube please wait 1-2 days and try again. If it still does not work please convo us for further instructions.

If small white dots appear on the surface on the wood it means water may have splashed onto it. These can easily be removed by lightly scratching it with your fingernail.

Using the tubes:

We recommend that when filling your tube with water you follow these steps:
- Remove tube from wood
- Fill 3/4 with clean tepid water
- Wipe residual water from the outside of the tube with a tea-towel or cloth
- Replace tube in wood display
- Arrange flora as desired

Cleaning the tubes:

DO NOT subject your glass tube to extreme temperatures when cleaning or otherwise as this can cause the glass to break. Always use tepid water.

If your test tube becomes dirty it can easily be cleaned with bleach or other household cleaners. A toothbrush can be used as an abrasive during cleaning times. After rinsing off the cleaning product your tube can be cleaned with glass cleaner for a nice finish.
