Welcome to my shop! I hope you enjoy my work. It is all 100% handmade. These are porcelain pieces that are wheel thrown and stamped with hand-carved stamps. The work is then decorated with a layer of underglaze and fired. All my glazes are made from scratch and painted on before the last firing. More examples of my work can be found at www.kirstenbassion.com

I was an art student at Skidmore College and then received a MFA in ceramics from the School for American Crafts at Rochester Institute of Technology. My work can also be found in galleries across the country.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
For any of these to apply, contact me within seven (7) days of receiving your purchase. The item must be returned in the original condition with delivery confirmation at the buyer's expense. A refund will be granted as soon as the package is received and inspected. If an exchange is desired, the buyer must pay additional shipping costs for the new item to be sent out.
Payment
I accept paypal so that you can pay instantly online with a credit card. If you do not have paypal you can convo me for an exception to send a money order or check but this will delay the shipment of your order.

Credit card payments must be sent by 3 days after the order has been submitted. After 1 day, you will receive an electronic paypal invoice by email. After the third day, I will cancel the transaction. If you are having difficulties navigating the payment process, contact me for help.

Checks must be postmarked 1-3 days after the order has been placed. If I do not receive your check in a week I will send a reminder email.
Shipping
I package everything very carefully by wrapping the piece in bubble wrap and boxing it in packing peanuts in a cardbord box. Then depending on the size of the piece I will often double box the work with more peanuts in another larger box.

I usually ship UPS so the piece will have $100 insurance on it and we can track it.

Because I make breakable pieces I have decided it is just too risky to ship internationally....sorry! But if I am flying to your country I would be happy to hand carry something for you!
Additional policies and FAQs
All my work is food safe, dishwaher safe, microwave safe, and fun to use!

I currently do not take custom orders.

If a piece arrives broken please contact me immediately so I may correct the problem.
