About

It was always hard to find pieces I really loved. So I decided to make them for myself. And here we are!

My process started when I picked up the most beautiful shell on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. From there I taught myself how to do wire wrapping and create natural pieces using things I found around me like shells and Driftwood.
After a few years I felt stunted because what I really wanted to do was make pieces that still reflected my love for the nature around me but was more refined and allowed me to use the creative ideas that I had in my head that I couldn't execute without knowing how to metalsmith.
I searched and searched and searched for someone who could teach me, it took a couple of years but I finally found an amazing woman who was taught by a traditional silversmith in Jerusalem. So the techniques that I have learned and continue to build on give me a sense of traditional silversmithing that are used to make completely original pieces that are one-of-a-kind and unique to me.
I'm still learning and I feel like I always will be and excited to create new ways of doing things, designing pieces that not only make me feel like I'm contributing something unique but that can be loved by someone who doesn't want a standard piece of jewelry.
