Where it all began...

My grandma taught me how to crochet as a teenager. After many wonky afghans I perfected my craft and utilized it for the furry ones. My pets are my passion and making them happy and then torturing them with photo sessions is a favorite hobby of mine.

If you’d like to pay by check, please convo me and let me know when you expect to ship it out and clarify that you will be using this method of payment. Since sending a check is a rare form of payment, it’s always nice to give me a heads up so I don’t think that you’ve forgotten to pay.


If you don’t have a paypal account, it’s ok! Because you don’t need one. Paypal has it set up so if you’d prefer not to make an account, you don’t have to. All they need is your credit card info, and address. The site is very self-explanatory and easy to navigate. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. When you buy an item from me, it’s always nice to send payment then instead of leaving that page and possibly forgetting to pay separately through paypal. It’s super easy to forget due to the fact that Etsy does not require you to pay when you hit “Checkout”. It saves us both time. Besides, I love to put together your package right when the transaction email hits my inbox. That way I can get it to the post office sooner, and shipping process is therefore sped up.

• Cancellation

If I don't hear from you a few days after your initial purchase sans payment, I'll try to make contact you & see if we can work something out. If I don't hear back from you, I will cancel the order on the 3rd day and leave a 'neutral' feedback for nonpayment. If you contact me later and order again, I'll be happy to use the "kiss and makeup" feedback feature. =)
• My Prices

My prices are calculated with USPS rates and cost of packaging. I use nice padded envelopes, and make sure to put thought and individuality into each order, so the cost of packaging is often times as much as the shipment itself.

The only way I can offer such low prices is skipping insurance and delivery confirmation (though these can be added if you'd be more comfortable). So far, I’ve had an excellent track record with USPS, and slapping those prices on the default shipping costs would be a bit unnecessary. If you’d like insurance and confirmation, feel free to ask, I’ll send an adjustment, and we’ll all be happy as a clam.

• International Orders

*sigh* What can I say? Shipping internationally is always a bit tricky, no matter what country it’s leaving, and what country the destination. Customs, rogue postal men, and theft all make this very unpredictable. I try to ship Global Priority (which IS pricey, but often times more reliable) but a product that’s $6 and the shipping fee being $19 is a bit ridiculous, and is not exactly reasonable. If things don’t reach their destination on time, convo me and we can figure it out. Sometimes it gets lost in all the planes, trucks, or however many routes it has to take, a postal worker discovers it's under their seat, and thinks ‘hey, maybe I should ship this to it’s destination’ then magically shows up late. Other times, it doesn’t show up at all. So far, things have been overall decent with international shipping. But if it doesn’t show up on time, convo me and we will work something out. I’m not a buyer who says ‘Once it leaves my hands it’s not my responsibility’, I’m here to spread the Kirstenlovesdinner magic, and I can’t very well do that without sending a replacement, or offering a refund.

• Custom Orders

Custom orders are my absolute favorite. I've done quite a few, and nothing makes me happier than delighting you EXACTLY what you want. Feel free to ask for anything, and I'll let you know what I can do. As of now, I've had an excellent relationship with buyers. I trust that if you ask me for a custom order, you'll follow through when it's listed. This way, there's no need for any sort of down-payment or any money up front.
