5 out of 5 starsThis is a great shop. I ordered two original blends - both smell fantastic AND I also received a sample of another scent. I will definitely be buying from them again!

5 out of 5 starsAwesome and consistent quality incense! I’ll always buy from here as long as they make stuff. None of it has been overpowering. Always sweet and calming. Each burns for an hour I think.

5 out of 5 starsItem came well packaged to preserve scent and protect item. For me the scent is strong when you open it and just by the smell I would have never picked this scent had I been shopping in a physical store front. I’m glad I committed to burning one. It doesn’t burn like it smells before lighting. My senses were delighted! I can’t go a day without burning one. I love the original scent Comfort. Thank you for continuing to make it! I will be purchasing in the largest quantity next time. I am for sure going to be a repeat customer.

5 out of 5 starsThese are the perfect scent for someone who does not like the perfume scented incense sticks. Not overly strong and last a long time once you light it. The scent lingers in the background for hours. Will purchase again.

5 out of 5 starsThis item shipped crazy fast and came secure and exactly as described. Just perfect.
Smells being subjective, I personally really enjoy this one. I'm not an incense experienced person and scents can be really influential for me. I wanted to try this one because, along with therapy, I try things that could help with panic disorder (trauma) and general anxiety. Rituals can be really helpful and I've had great success with essential oils in a diffuser and wanted something more accessible for busier days. This scent seems to have a really positive effect in my personal experience so far. I'm really grateful.
The sample was a cool surprise! And I shared it with a friend! -

5 out of 5 starsThese came beautifully boxed and smelled absolutely wonderful. A remarkable job at creating the best incense I've ever had. Thank you so much!

DM Kiser is short for Dauna M Kiser or Dauna and Marty Kiser. We own and operate Kiser Art Studio Gallery; fine art, fun art, and fragrance art.
**Update, September 2020: We are back in the Southwest, near more family members! We're settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and are now shipping incense and artwork from there. Waiting patiently for fairs and festivals to start up again (our favorite events!) Keep ordering and thank you!**
Recent History:
We lived in West Liberty, Iowa, where we had studios in the attic, basement, and in Dauna's study of our 1907 Craftsman-style home. The gallery was in the 'parlor', and during our Holiday Open Studio expanded into the formal dining room and smaller sitting room.
Marty took over the formal dining room for picture frame finish work, and the sitting room became the work and display area for Dauna's incense, burners, fragrance oils, and related items. His wood shop filled the garage, and the sun room often stored near-finished frames or large sculptures. Our new location in Colorado will consist of larger studios outside of the house and a much smaller house to try to keep clean!
Marty uses several art media, including color and graphite pencil, acrylics, pottery, and wood. His pieces range from paintings and drawings to mixed-media sculptures - each is a unique creation. An artist all his life, he began serious work in 1980. since then he has created and sold artwork throughout the US and the world. He also teaches classes occasionally. He plays music, builds furniture, and loves to landscape in his spare time.
Dauna works in oils - oil paints, walnut oil, fragrance oils, bath oil, olive oil, cooking oil, wood oil, (and occasionally graphite pencils!) She complements her olfactory artwork with pottery burners, containers, and candle burners. An avid baker (love that butter!) she also hand-builds high-fire serving dishes and platters that she herself could (and does) use for entertaining.
Dauna is the computer nerd in the family, and is working on creating cross-stitch designs from Marty's originals. She teaches college courses online and is an empowerment coach conducting workshops in person, on the web, and in virtual worlds. She works part-time with a 3D virtual world company (Sinespace) and often brings the art and empowerment to the online community.
Our Etsy shop offers only some of our myriad creations! Here you will find giclee prints, ceramic sculptures, masks, wheel-thrown bowls, pie and cake servers, wall vases, incense, incense & candle burners, and elegant serving ware. If you are in the West Liberty area, watch our website for our open hours and open studio dates. You can also contact us to make an appointment to see our work: www.kiserart.com.

Shipping
Clay pieces are lovingly wrapped in copious amounts of packing material (heavy paper/tissue, bubble wrap, foam packing) and double boxed if the artwork is delicate. We re-purpose boxes when we have them, and will build a specially-sized box if necessary. Incense is shipped in sturdy re-purposed foam board boxes to prevent bending or breaking.
Shipping Method:
We ship all art pieces USPS insured. If an incense order is shipped with any art piece, the entire order is shipped insured. Items under 1 pound are shipped USPS First Class Mail. Items over one pound are shipped USPS Priority Mail, International Priority Mail, or Parcel Select.
Shipping costs:
Buyer pays all shipping costs, including insurance and tracking fees. For delicate or heavy pieces there is an additional handling fee which varies depending on the piece. Shipping charges are non-refundable once the item has shipped. We will refund shipping overcharges of $3.00 or more.
Address and Shipping Time
We ship to the address provided to us on Etsy. The buyer is responsible for providing Etsy or Paypal with a correct, current address. We provide tracking for all packages.
Unless otherwise specified, or for custom orders, we generally ship within three business days. If there are any delays that prevent shipping out when specified, we will contact the buyer and resolve the situation as quickly as possible or give the buyer an opportunity to cancel the order.
Please note that First Class Mail and Priority Mail estimated times are not guaranteed, and we have no control over delays in USPS processing or delivery times. If the buyer has not received their order within 10 days of the estimated date, AND the tracking shows it has been delivered, they should
1. Check with their local post office to see if the package is being held there
2. Contact Kiser Art Studio via Esty convo to let us know you have not received the package. We cannot guarantee anything, but we will try to find out what we can on our end.
3. Check the address on Etsy the package was shipped to. If the Etsy address is different than the one expected, you should check to see if the package was delivered there.
Damaged items:
Because we ship artwork insured, the buyer should
1. Notify us that the item arrived damaged.
2. Contact their local USPS and initiate a claim for damage.
3. If the buyer wishes to reorder a similar item (or another print) we will endeavor to find a mutually satisfactory replacement and reship insured. While it is unlikely that we can recreate the same ceramic piece or sculpture, we may be able to create something similar. This can take 90 days or longer, depending on the original piece.
