Shop policies

Hi, here you will find all the "fine print" about my shop. I really want you to be happy not only with the products you get from me, but also with the service.

If you still have questions feel free to convo me, I will be happy to answer any of them.

This section applies only to USA buyers:

I'm just one woman with this tiny little Etsy shop that doesn't even qualify to be registered as a business according to local regulations. I have no plans of getting a compliance certification with CPSIA law (or resources to do it). This means the only proof you have that my products are not harmful is my word (all materials are listed on each product, I have nothing to hide), it's up to you to decide if this is enough ;)

When you buy an item, you get this same message in the Message to Buyers, if you get cold feet from my lack of certification you'll have exactly 1 hour from the time of transaction to cancel; if you wait any longer or pay immediately I'll take it that you don't mind and will live happily ever after with the un-certified items you just ordered.

I accept payment with Paypal from every customer everywhere in the world, but if you are in Monterrey (MX) you can pay in cash (in pesos) and get free shipping. For the Monterrey option: please let me know in the "Notes to seller".

Payment is expected within an hour of buying the item, I'll start bugging you after that ;) If payment isn't received after 3 days, transaction will be canceled and neutral feedback will be left.
This section applies only to Mexico buyers:

The US-Dollar vs MX-Peso exchange rate is crazy, so, if you're in Mexico, go through the checkout process and stop right after clicking the Big Green Button (Submit Order); I'll send you an updated invoice so you can pay in pesos and forget about the awful exchange rate ;)

If you pay immediately It means you accept PayPal's current exchange rate.
I ship through Sepomex using the least expensive option; there are 4 shipping zones and I have included at least 1 country of each in my shipping profiles; this way if your country isn't listed you still know how much you will pay:
-North America, Central America and the Caribbean
-South America and Europe
-Everywhere else (Asia, Africa and Australia are in this zone)

If your country isn't listed you will be charged the "Everywhere else" shipping cost, I will refund you the difference through paypal.

The shipping that appears with each listing doesn't include a tracking number, if you want to upgrade shipping please let me know in the "Notes to seller" and I will send you an updated invoice; keep in mind that the new shipping will cost twice the amount that appeared with the listing.

International shipping usually takes about 2 to 3 weeks but the package may be delayed because of customs and take up to 8 weeks to get there.

You are responsible for any customs fees that the package might be subject to. These are determined once it reaches your country (so far, none of my items have been subject to customs, I think it happens to bigger, more expensive objects).

If you ordered a custom object I will let know how many days it will take me to finish the piece, and we will agree on a shipping date.

I you want me to ship your order to someone else's address (gift) please let me know in the "Notes to seller".
Refunds and Exchanges
Cloth pads, custom items, and items on sale cannot be returned/exchanged.
All the other items can only be returned/exchanged if they were subject to damage while in transit.

If your item gets damaged while traveling your way please return it to me, I will send you a new one. Don't wait too long to let me know about the damage, this return policy will only be valid for 3 days after you receive the package. You will pay for the returning shipping, I will pay for the replacement item shipping.

If your item gets lost while traveling your way I will send you another one; keep in mind that international delivery might take up to 8 weeks to reach you (in some cases). International orders will be considered lost if they are not delivered after 12 weeks from shipping date, not before.

If we both have bad luck and the replacement item also gets damaged or lost I'm sorry but I wont be able to send a new replacement.
