We couldn't be happier with these gorgeous matching rings, which we are using as our wedding rings. We did notice grey residue on our fingers, which Gayle said was probably from the oxidizing agent she used to bring out the contrast on the outside of the rings. The rings were also slightly itchy from the residue for the first few days. However, once we washed the residue off our hands and the inside of the rings (with just warm water and soap) the itchiness went away. The fit was absolutely perfect, as if she had worked from a mold of our fingers. We were also pleasantly surprised by the very attractive and professional presentation of the rings, in a snazzy wooden box, inside the larger cardboard box. We have gotten so many compliments on the rings -- they're so attractive and unusual, and beautiful. Thanks again!

When hubby and I first married, we would go out and cut a young cedar tree for our Christmas tree. Christmas on the prairie. Good memories.

About

My Inspiration

I transform metal into works of art inspired by my love of nature and the Kansas prairie. Some of my pieces are one-of-a-kind creations that will not be reproduced exactly and are as varied as nature. Each piece is made to the highest quality for your enjoyment for years to come.

I make my own handmade molds from natural elements, and handpick plants and flowers around my home on the Flint Hills Prairie of Kansas. My best selling items are my prairie grass pieces that are made with native prairie grass. Take a look around and see nature suspended in metal forever to be cherished.

My backyard is the Flint Hills prairie. Nature is my inspiration for almost all of my art, especially my jewelry designs. I'm most happy when I'm outside with nature or working creatively on a project.

Care instructions

All jewelry orders come with a complementary polishing cloth. I use raw metals that will get a patina over time. Using the polishing cloth on the raised surfaces will add more dimension to pieces that do not have a patina applied already. Gemstones should not be polished. Do not wear jewelry while swimming, using hot tub or spa, cleaning with chemicals or other solvents which can damage both metal and gemstones in jewelry. Use caution with activities that may damage the physical structure of your jewelry or cause excessive wear.
