About

Hypoallergenic jewellery made from gemstones and beads

I love beads of all types, but especially ones that are sparkly, brightly coloured, or look like sweets. I also love gemstones and crystals and have started to use these in my handmade jewellery too.

The name 'Kitty Ballistic' came up during a very silly discussion about superheroes and characters from James Bond films. I’ve stuck with it for my Etsy shop, Instragram, Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook. It doesn’t really mean anything, but it suits my fickle (and daft) nature.

Hypoallergenic Earrings made from gemstones and beads I make jewellery from beads and gemstones that catch my eye. I love bright colours as well as interesting textures and of course, a bit of sparkle!

    Quality Control

Phoebe is always extremely interested in my jewellery making, particularly if it involves wire or thread. She would like me to point out that I find her almost constant snoring essential to my creative process.

    Motivational Guru

Spartacus has a unique outlook on business and isn't shy about vocalising his concerns, particularly when I am making a piece of jewellery, and he is in the next room, starved of attention.

Welcome to my shop!

I was a magpie in a former life, and I am easily distracted by sparkly, colourful, pretty beads and buttons. I gather them up and make them into jewellery. The items that I don't greedily keep for myself, I sell in my Etsy shop.

Shipping
All my items are ready to be shipped, and I try to ship items within 48 hours of receiving payment. If for some reason I am not able to ship within that time frame, I will contact you to let you know.

If you have contacted me for a custom order, we will agree the delivery time up front.

Please take note that I am based in the United Kingdom, therefore it may take anywhere from 3 days to several weeks for your item(s) to arrive, depending on where you live.

I ship using standard airmail (Royal Mail). If you would like to have insurance or a tracking number, please let me know before placing your order, so that I can get a quote for you.

Please note that for packages sent outside the EU, there may be customs charges, for which you are liable. These charges differ per country, and are outside of my control. Please make sure you are aware of the potential customs charges for your country before placing an order.

Your item will be packaged in a gift box ready for giving, as shown in the last photo on most listings. The box is fastened with a removal cord/ribbon, so you can check the contents before giving it as a gift.

Please note that for shipping envelopes etc., I use recycled packaging products wherever possible.
Refunds and Exchanges
If an item is faulty, please contact me within 7 days of receiving the item so that I can give you a full refund or exchange.

For all other returns, under EU law, you are entitled to return the item for any reason up to 14 days after you have received it. You may return the item to me (in its original state and packaging) for a full refund. On receipt of the item(s) in their original state, I will provide you with a refund for the original order amount.

Please note that the cost of returning the item to me should be paid for by you, and is non-refundable.

For hygiene reasons, I cannot accept returns for earrings unless they are faulty.
Additional policies and FAQs
***Please make sure you read the dimensions listed in the descriptions for the item. I use the macro (close up) function on my camera to take most of my photos, so they will appear much bigger in the photographs than they are in real life. If you are unsure about the size of a particular item, feel free to contact me (using the 'Contact' button) for additional information.***
