The photograph cannot do justice to the depth of colour in this beautiful burgundy piece. The detail in the gold dragonflies is just beautiful. I am looking forward to wearing it.
Lovely earrings and such prompt service. One of my daughter's favorite Christmas gifts this year. Thanks.
Lovely earrings, and my daughter loved them too. Thanks for such prompt service.
Beautiful necklace, and such prompt shipping. So lovely, I wound up keeping it for myself, shame on me.
Fused Glass Jewelry for the Elegant Woman
My husband and I live in Mathews,VA - "The Land That Time Forgot" as he calls it. Our county is so rural that we don't have a single stoplight, and we like it that way! The quaint fishing town at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay is a mecca for retirees from Richmond and DC, and has a great community of artists. My mom was a painter and a founding member of the local artist cooperative. I did not inherit her artistic ability with a brush, but I am a lifelong pianist and organist, and now I have my own jewelry business, KittyKat Glass Designs.
After leaving a busy career in Washington, DC as a bank executive almost 10 years ago because of Multiple Sclerosis, I am now able to spend time working with my hands and feeding my soul at the same time.
I have been so blessed, and I like to give back. I donate 10% to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the ELCA (Lutheran Church) World Hunger Appeal. Thanks for visiting my site and I hope you like my work.
I am a SELF-REPRESENTING ARTIST JEWELRY DESIGNER. The SRAJD is an organization of members who design, create, and sell their own jewelry. When you purchase from an SRAJD member, you are buying directly from and supporting the artist.
Libby Lipscomb Boyer
After retiring from a hectic banking career in D.C. because of Multiple Sclerosis, I needed something to keep me occupied. A friend introduced me to glass fusing in May 2011 and I was hooked. Now, a year later, I know it was the right decision!

Additional policies and FAQs
All my glass is one of a kind. I can make similar pieces but due to the nature of the glass techniques I use, no two pieces will ever be identical.
I will be happy to discuss any requests for custom orders. I will let you know at that time the cost and estimated time to complete the request. Custom orders are generally more since they often require that I order special glass or findings. A deposit of 20% will be required before work is started.
I try to use the best materials possible. Unless stated otherwise, all earring wires or posts are sterling silver, sterling-filled or 14K gold-filled. Pendant bails are usually silver or gold plated, as it is very difficult and expensive to find silver or gold filled. If this is a problem for you because of metal allergies, please contact me before purchase and I will let you know what options are available.
How do I determine my bracelet size?
Step 1: Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone, where one would normally wear a bracelet, with a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper.
Step 2: If you are using a plain strip of paper, then measure that paper strip with a ruler to determine your wrist size.
Step 3: Add 1/4 inch to 1 inch (average is 1/2 inch) to your wrist size, depending on whether you would like a snug, comfort, or loose fit. This is the ideal bracelet length for you.
How should a bracelet fit?
A great bracelet fits loosely so it moves a little, but not loose enough to slide off the hand.
Link: You should be able to slide one or two fingers between the chain and the wrist; fortunately, most link bracelets are adjustable in length.
Bangle: A bangle band can fit closely or loosely on the wrist; it shouldn't slide over the heel of the hand too easily.
Cuff: A cuff bracelet, which is a bangle that isn't closed, is meant to fit tightly on the wrist or the forearm; adjust the cuff so it doesn't pinch.
