I have been an artist for years now, mostly watercolor and drawing but interested in all arts and different crafts. I am a true nature lover and find so much beauty in nature. I love anything warm, earthy, old & rustic, and recycling things making something unique and fun. I love the "something old with -the something new". I was always the kid who would pick out the crooked pumpkin at the patch with the dents and dings because I thought it was the most interesting one with the most personality :p when everyone else had to have thee most perfect one. I like the "not so perfect" things offset a bit and to look handmade, warm, rustic and earthy... that is what makes it unique to me.

My father was a fisherman and I spent a lot of time with him out on the SF Bay, even as a young girl I remember finding all the different fish he caught so interesting - their scales, texture of their skin, the movement of the water and the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge in the fog. Being of Asian descent , a lot of my pieces have an Asian flavor to them. I love natural textures and fossils, tribal symbols, kanji symbols, and LOVE Japanese Crests Designs.(My family Crest is pictured on my site).

A friend of mine introduced me to PMC and I was hooked. I Had a kiln within a month and I have been making Components and Jewelry and Raku beads & buttons for quite some time now. Raku is my special "love", I enjoy the excitement of not knowing what the final product will be as far as colors and iridescent effects I'll get when I open the firebox :) the warm earthy colors and subtle bling I get from the glazes are addicting!

Thank you for looking :D

Additional policies and FAQs
All my items are handmade by me from beginning to end. All hand formed and rustic and earthy-the luster's/colors vary from piece to piece (raku glazes and by torching the copper- color's are unpredictable) because of the materials used as the shapes, they are all close in size but not always "perfect" because of my earthy rustic style and being hand formed/handmade. Being that I am a one woman shop- custom/reserved orders will be held 1 week, if they are not purchased by then they will be re-posted.

*Raku should be either removed before washing or wrapped in foil and crinkled up for protection or a button cover and NEVER thrown in the dryer. . . Hand washing/air dry is recommended.
