About Kjerringrokk
A little about me
Some of my first memories from I was little are of my mother in her sewing room in our little house in the fishing village Mehamn in the northernmost of Norway. Ever since I have been surrounded by a crafting family. I have learned sewing, knitting, weaving, and a lot more and everything has led me to a big curiosity of everything handcrafted. How is it made? Can I make it better?
These days spinning is my biggest obsession, but I also weave, knit, sew, embroider, make jewelery and try myself at woodworking.
Daytime I am a airplane sheet metal worker at the worlds biggest smallest airline, Widerøe In Bodø in northern Norway. It is not as creative a job but I do get to work with my hands.
I live here with my husband, two daughters and our dog.
