There's always stories

I’ve always made things, art movies, painting, drawing, all sorts of stuff on the computer. I came to objects backwards. I was working on the computer with a pohotoscan, decided to 3d print it, and fell in love with having something I could hold in my hand. I find the smallness and wearableness intoxicating. It’s like holding or wearing little secrets, little stories. I'm sharing my secrets in these objects. They are the resonance. Making things, to me, is a way of sharing stories and secrets. Maybe you don't get the details, but you get the feeling. It's a very personal communication.

When I was younger, I had these grand schemes but I couldn’t do them. I had to learn to think small. It's really funny that I’ve ended up making small sculptures. Smallness to express bigness, I put a lot of whatever-you-want-to-call-it into them.

Frequently asked questions

I can offer refunds on items that are not custom or personalized. However, items with free shipping will be refunded MINUS the actual shipping charge (less than $5 for First Class Mail). In addition, there is a restocking fee for refunded items processed through Paypal (2.9% on US orders, 4.4% on international orders) to cover Paypal's nonrefundable transaction fees.

Sizing details

Any rings with multiple stones in them are one of a kind and can't be resized. The types and amount of stones have usually dictated their size.
Most of my rings have a lot of detail so resizing is a custom order. I'm happy to do it, but there will be an extra cost and it will take time so please allow 4-6 weeks.
If the resizing is more than 1 size larger or smaller, it will be a complete reworking of the ring and chances are it will look quite different.

Custom and personalized orders

I am happy to discuss options for custom variations on anything you see in my shop and will consider working with you on new designs, but I will say no if I don't think there is a connection between what you want and what I do.

I only work in silver right now. I'm happy to shop for stones, but I'll charge for the time.

Please try to consider all the expenses when asking for a custom order.

Care instructions

Silver jewelry can be polished with any commercial polishing cloth. I don't recommend liquid cleaners as this will remove the detail oxidation.

I'm in New York which might be the tarnishing capital of the US. I've found if I keep the jewelry in its black pouch and place it in an air tight plastic container I don't have to polish it so much. It also helps to wear the silver, it seems.

For the pieces with multiple stones I would say be slightly careful. Like take off the rings when you wash dishes.

For international buyers

International purchases will be shipped as "merchandise," and the buyer is responsible for any customs/duties/VAT upon arrival. I will not falsify a customs form in any way, including marking as a gift.
