Welcome....come on in and browse. I'm listing all original art, mainly block-prints (woodcuts, linocuts & vinylcuts), all limited editions! Meaning, when they're sold out, they're sold out. I design them, draw them, carve them, print them, (and in some cases paint them), mat them, (and in some cases frame them)
You will often find me doing the National Art Fair circuit - Florida, Chicago, Houston, Denver, etc. - this Covid year? Not so much!
I received my undergrad in Studio Art and my MA in painting. I’m pretty much self-taught in printmaking and was initially inspired by the woodcut narrative artists such as Lynd Ward and Frans Masereel. But I definitely take a liking to the WPA artists and British book illustrators from the 1930’s to 50’s.
You will find my work in private collections all over the world. Some of my art can be found in the public collections of Purdue University, the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art in Charleston, SC, Pensacola State College, The College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL, Janus, INC in Denver and Epic Systems in Milwaukee.

Over many years I have collected Spanish American retablos and this woodcut, thought a different process, is a beautiful addition to my icon collection. I chose the painted and framed version because I wanted the artist's POV in every aspect of the art piece. I was not disappointed. Thank you for this beautiful and inspiring piece.

5 out of 5 starsAll I can say is, "WOW!" Kreg has captured the essence of Bill Mallonee's song, "The Glory and the Dream," and its inspiration -- the paintings of Howard Finster. The print is wonderful, but I highly suggest you order it framed. The custom frame really complements the print and is itself Finsteresque.
