Building on the Theater of Childhood Imagination

Almost every item in Knees and Paws was first an idea in the mind of a child. The process begins with the child, from the whisper of an idea arising from imagined desires. The resulting product is a manifestation of colorful wishes.

I create items for play that children dream into reality. "Building on the Theater of Childhood Imagination" means that my shop is an ever-evolving collaboration between the playful-artist child who longs to experience what their imaginations feel like, and the skilled, creative maker with tools, materials and resources.

The resulting products stimulate new variations and more expressive forms of live action role play and deeper conscious dreaming.

Knees and Paws have been accepted as safe products by the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation and are currently being used by children in recovery. The mission of the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation is to create smiles, inspire hope, and to help children in recovery rediscover childhood. If you are interested in giving Knees and Paws to a child in cancer recovery, please convo me with a request and I will create a custom listing. All items go to the Bearable Gift Program.

I am also deeply involved in supporting my eight year old son's mission to help homeless people in our community. He is the artist behind Elliot's Ninja Art: Helping the Homeless One Ninja at a Time. To see his art and help homeless families and individuals please visit his shop here:

I collaborate with the children whose imagination fuels the design process for each item. Building on the Theater of Childhood Imagination is the focus of this process. Here the artist-dreamer-child receives a piece of imagination made real.

Knees and Paws are sets of hand and knee coverings for kids who like to play cats and dogs. Your satisfaction with this product is a priority, and feedback is welcomed. Knees and Paws are a patent pending product, license # 61/275757. My philosopy catch phrase as an inventor is "My Version of Reality is Miracle Based." I believe in supporting the potential of children and their dreams through experience and play.
