Kristen Neveu - Gone West

I opened my etsy shop after I moved to Los Angeles from Chicago in 2008 with my family. My daughter was only a year old and I needed a creative outlet along with trying to earn a little extra dough from selling my artwork in a new city with no contacts.

    Kristen Neveu Raised in the Midwest, living and creating in Los Angeles. I love using recycled materials like wood, fabric and paper in my artwork. I use patterns in my work that are inspired by nature and the passage of time.

My collage paintings are created from my own collection of photos I've taken while traveling, or from my inspirations of everyday. I'm usually carrying a camera and snap whatever catches my eye. I mix the slices of photos with vintage magazine and fabric scraps and then paint and pencils. The collages are on canvas or wood. I've also started to scan some of my work into prints.

PAYMENT METHODS
I accept paypal, personal checks and money orders. I will wait for your check to clear before shipping.

LAYAWAY
I'm happy to place larger and more expensive works on an installment plan for you. Just let me know and we can work something out.

CANCELLED ORDERS
I'll cancel your order after 7 days of no payment, and I'll send a few reminder emails before I do so.
Shipping
I ship all orders within 3 business days of payment received. I package the work with care (plenty of packing material of course).

DOMESTIC SHIPPING
I ship via United States Postal Service by either First Class or Priority Mail depending on weight. Domestic orders over $75.00 are sent priority mail and are fully insured.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
All international orders are mailed via USPS by First Class Mail International. International customers might want to upgrade shipping or add insurance, but I'll add the additional cost to your purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you would like me to create something similar to what you see in my shop, or need something custom made, please convo me. I may have something that isn't in the shop in my studio to meet your needs, or I could be working on something similar to what you might be looking for. I also have another website, www.kristenneveu.com, if you'd like to take a look at that for more work. These types of requests do take longer to create, so please take this into account.
