Two sticks or one hook and some string - that's all it takes to make something beautiful, something warm, something comforting. It can be used or saved for generations to come. It is history and legacy. Handmade crafts can do that and what sets knitting and crochet apart from it is the use of two hands. There are knitting machines and tools to be sure but there is something earthy and connective making something without the machinery. I love knowing items I've made are being used all around the world and I am especially happy when someome in my family is made more comfortable because of an afghan, hat or sweater I've given them.
I learned to knit and crochet using a pencil because I didn't have hook or needles. I did get them eventually but I put them down for a long time while I went to school. It was only recently, after I married, that my interest was piqued and I haven't looked back. When one knits constantly, one's house gets filled with hats, scarves, blankets and all kinds of things. For me, that meant opening a shop and here we are.
It is a wonderful thing to discover those things that you are good at and that bring a sense of belonging and purpose. Knitting and crochet does that for me and I, in turn, want to do that for the people who purchase from me. I want to provide comfort, beauty and connection in the things you wear, display in your home or give as gifts.

Frequently asked questions
When Do Items Ship?
Items marked ready to ship will dispatch within 1-3 business days. Customized items may take up to three weeks - depending on order volume. Your receipt will show an estimated ship date. You will also receive an email notification when your order is being started and when it ships.
How Do You Ship
I use USPS shipping. Buyers will choose whether to have item shipped First Class, Priority or Overnight.
Items under 13 ounces are sent First Class over 13 ounces are sent Parcel Post or Priority mail. We ship to other countries International First Class.
International customers are responsible with all fees, tariffs, taxes, etc. to their own country. Custom fees may be assessed by a country and those costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
Because each country has their own procedures, delivery dates may be impacted. International orders will contain a customs number .The buyer can use in contact with their customs office to try and track a package. Full value is declared on every package, every time. Even for the royal family.
What about Refunds and Exchanges?
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Items can be returned within 5 days of receipt if it does not fit properly or is not as represented. Contact us through the Etsy Conversation system to discuss the return.
Every effort will be made to correct the concern. A store credit will be issued for the purchase price should the item be returned.
Custom orders are final. Pattern sales are final. Afghan sales are final.
Shipping is not refundable.
What if I Don't Receive My Order?
We will open and investigation with the USPS. No refunds will be made until that investigation is completed. The tracking number allows both the buyer and seller to see where the package is in the delivery system and will assist in finding the package.
We take claims of non-receipt or missing items very seriously. Upon notification that items are missing or never received, we will open a case with the USPS and ask for an official postal inspection. This will include filing a form with all information, including the information of the buyer and seller. The postal service may interview the buyer and ask for a signed affidavit. Refunds are given after the inspection concludes AND if the inspection finds fault with the delivery system.
