Handmade sewn or crocheted or knitted items are my passion! My mother taught me to sew, crochet and knit .I started watching and learning from her as a very young person.
With the birth of my first granddaughter Nolah , I soon realized she was one of a kind and needed a wardrobe to match :) hence the birth of KnitPickinCute on Etsy and "Clothes by Gigi". After making items for Nolah, it soon became apparent all of her daycare buddies had parents who adored Nolah and her wardrobe, and one request led to another and I was working furiously to keep up with work and sewing. Super busy is they way I stay, the way I love my life and love to live my life. Now I have another small granddaughter Rhonda who is another special little girl with special outfit requests :). I have 8 grand children all together and never see them often enough do to there life schedules and mine, but I'm always thinking of them as I'm creating. They keep me energized. I'm always still looking to create that next great idea and love trying new patterns and mediums to achieve those ideas. My goal is to make every order as if I am the one ordering it.
