5 out of 5 starsWas not expecting to breeze through this pattern, given the vintage nature of its instruction. Came to a couple of blocks but those were quickly solved through google searches. Thank you for making this available.

4 out of 5 starsThis is a VINTAGE pattern. It will take a little work to figure out and follow. That is not a bad thing, it is just different from patterns that I have been working on since learning to knit a year ago.

2 out of 5 starsThis pattern is not very clear: It reads needles sizes 15 & 10.5 but it does not tell you weather it is circular or straight or the lengths. On the pattern it says to go to page 3 to check needle gauge but there is only one page of instructions and the other is a picture. It does not tell you weather it is top down, in sections or bottom up. After reading it, I finally figured out it is Knit in sections bottom up then sewing pieces together. After knitting I could not figure out what sections needed to be placed on scrap yarn to weave/sew together for later. I had to drive 25 minutes away to a local yarn shop that could help me read this. I am an intermediate Knitter and thought I could figure this out but I couldn't.

This is a vintage pattern. Please be prepared that they are not written the same as they are now. If you send me a message I will help you if I can. Otherwise your local yarn store is the best place for answers. I have personally knitting a pattern from this book and felt is was well written. I am also an intermediate knitter. I have sold this pattern for many year with great reviews. As for the page 3 that the buyer references, it is included in the downloads. You will need to download 2 files. Page 3 is general instructions on gauge and how to block.
