At Knitting with Nellie, you’ll find a selection of modern luxury hand knitted hats that are going to keep you warm all winter long!!

Shipping:
All items are ready to ship, and I’ll usually send out all orders within 24 hours. You'll be provided a tracking number when your item ships, but please note that Canada Post may be experiencing delays beyond my control.

Flat rate shipping in Canada: $10.25
Free shipping in Canada on orders over $100.00
For local pick up in Surrey B.C. use the code: LOCALPICKUP

If a shipment becomes lost I’ll make a claim with Canada Post but I’ll be unable to send a replacement until Canada post deems the parcel lost which can take up to 10 business days after the claim is made.

*I'll do my absolute best to send a replacement, but sometime items are one of a kind. In that case I'll provide a refund (after Canada Post deems it lost)

Hi! My name is Sara. I am from Surrey B.C. Canada and I make knitted hats. I started knitting in March of 2019 and absolutely love it! I started because a good friend of mine was knitting and was creating so many beautiful items that I wanted to give knitting a try. From there, I created Knitting with Nellie. The name Nellie is special to me because my great grandmother was named Nellie. I never meet her but I have the honour of having Nellie as my middle name.

All my hats are made from high quality merino wool. By buying one of my luxury hats you’re going to get a amazing knitted hat that is going to keep you warm all winter long and for years to come!

Care instructions

- Hand wash cold in gentle detergent, reshape and air dry flat.
- Do not put in washing machine or dryer, as this will cause your wool item to felt.
- Remove pom pom before washing for best results (pom pom can be removed by untying from inside).
- Fluff pom pom to refresh by gently brushing with comb or cool heat from a hair dryer.

All wool will stretch over time. If you feel your hat has gotten too stretched out, follow the instructions above to wash it, then reshape it to desired shape, and allow to dry. This should reshape it to its original size.

If you have any questions about sizing or fit, feel free to send me a message! All listings include a video of the fit on my own head.

All wool will stretch over time. If your hat feels small (especially at the brim) when it arrives, know that it will stretch over time (after a few wears) and mold to your head shape.

Shipping

All orders are filled within 1-3 days. I usually can get them out within 24 hours. However once they are accepted by Canada Post they are out of my control.
