Announcement   Folk inspired eco-friendly needle felted dream creatures, animals, curiosities, monsters, mythological creatures, woodland beasts, knitted amigurumi, hand-crafted homeware and accessories. Needle felted with love and soul.

I believe in eco-friendly art, and so practically all of my items are either 100% wool (a completely natural and renewable resource) or hand crafted from fairtrade Indian and Nepalese sari silk remnants, hence reducing waste and bringing a bit of exotic colour into our homes.

For every listing, the item you see is the exact item you receive. All of my creatures are already made and are enjoying the view before embarking on their next adventure.

You can follow my adventures via the Knittynudo blog at: knittynudo.wordpress.com . Knittynudo can also be found on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.

If you'd like to discover more about what I do, have a peep at the 'about' page: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Knittynudo/about/

Enjoy your stay!

About

Little sculptures from an unknown world where anything and everything exists alongside us

Soft sculpture is my way of visualising a curious world. They are the characters hiding under the tree roots, between the petals of a flower, under the floorboards, or lost down the rabbit hole.

I have grown up in the beautiful north of England, surrounded by cultural cities, dense woodlands, rolling mountains, serene lakes, and a roaring sea tide. I've spent my childhood playing out myths and magic in old castles and monasteries , and my adulthood visualising tales of modern day folklore and mythology.

Knittynudo is all about capturing something about the world, a certain peculiarity or oddness. Little characters with a story. I try to show that even in challenging times the world is still beautiful and full of colour, as long as we still use our imagination. Magic can be found everywhere, and through Knittynudo this quirkiness is interpreted in the form of soft sculptures, needle felted from 100% natural, renewable, and biodegradable materials. Knittynudo is eco art, interpreting the world in all its whimsy and curiosity.

Knittynudo sculptures can also be found at:
- The Shipley Art Gallery (England, UK)
- Avis Frank Gallery (Houston, Texas)
- Online, through various online blogs and craft communities (such as craftseekers.com)

Quirky needle felted folk fibre art, straight out of the natural world. I have a strong folk ethic, and love to create creatures and items that remind us of legends, myths, and those whimsical stories that take us back to the woodlands.

All items are handmade from my home in the cold north of England, and lovingly designed to keep you company on your path through life.
