Capturing Nature for All to Admire
I received my first camera, a 110 Kodak, when I was only 8 or 9. I took hundreds of photos of trees and lakes, and none quite looked the way I'd hoped. After switching to a 35mm and loving the quality of my new photos I was hooked. At 16 I saved all summer long to purchase my first 35mm SLR, and I've been photographing nature ever since.
I have since moved on to a digital SLR, and after much encouragement from friends and family I opened my shop this spring. My prints range from vast landscapes, to impressive skies and even flora and fauna.
Knotted Tree was inspired by the word Tuckamore, which is a Newfoundland term that refers to balsam fir and spruce trees stunted by the force of the coastal winds.

As a twenty-something new mama and who aims to live as self-sufficiently as possible, I spend a lot of time at home creating. Photography is my one passion that takes me out of the house and into the woods; where I can be focused or free-spirited.
