Love this type of yarn to create with....because of the different aural colors of this yarn it looks great when felted and different from anything else you will ever see. Nothing I make ever is repeated and is all "One of a Kind" work.

This lady makes the most scrumptious wool yarns I have ever worked with. If you like to create something different from the norm and a one of a kind object...try her yarns.

When I opened this shop in 2008, all of the yarn was spun from the organic fleece of the sheep, goats and llamas at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora NY. The Park was closed in 2011 and the animals went to other homes. .
The change has enabled me to explore new types of wool and new ways to spin it. Wool straight from the sheep continues to be my favorite fiber: Lincoln Longwool from Rita, Leicester Longwool from Abigail, Cotswold from Isabella, Blue-faced Leicester from Lena.
I try to know a bit about the sheep; wash, dry, and sometimes dye the entire fleece; then spin it curly or straight, bulky or worsted, single or plyed, from the lock or onto a core. If I could spin only natural colors I would. That said, I love to see new shades emerge from the dyepot and I use combinations of Greener Shades--an eco-dye--with other vinegar acid dyes.. There is no fragrance used in the making of my yarns-- and no cigarette smoke at all. But sometimes there is bling.

I would rather be spinning.

Please pay promptly, so I can send your purchase out right away. Paypal and credit cards make a sale finish quickly. If you prefer a check or money order, that's ok. I need to receive your check within 7 days of sale or I will cancel the sale. Any problems, just convo me.
I will send your purchase out the next day after payment is received. No fancy packaging for me--just tissue paper inside an environmentally-conscious mailing bag. It's compostable!
I understand international customs rules and will fill out forms accordingly. I will ship pkg air mail but not priority to international addresses.
And Canada? No problem. Formerly I took your package across the Bridge to mail. Turns out it is less expensive and faster to mail from the Bflo airport post office--so that is what I'll do.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I think it is difficult to buy yarn online, when the best part of buying is touching, smelling, seeing in different lights. I will refund the full price for any yarn skein that has not been unwound, or any full-wt unspun roving. And if it never arrives at all? Let me know right away and we'll try to find a good solution. Thanks.
