Updates

Rolls of nylon after the first stage of processing them into bags. I’ve cut them off of a 25 yd roll into the correct width for 3 rows. Here they’re stacked into piles of 4 or 5 sheets, and rolled for storage until I cut them into rectangles.

An off-grid home studio

Since 2010, I have been sewing bags in my home studio here in Central Vermont. I began with a variety of types of bags, which I sold at the local farmer’s market, but have now happily settled on chalk bags for rock climbing, combining my love of climbing with sewing (and hunting for new fabrics)! When I'm not sewing or climbing I love to surf, snowboard, and play disc golf (and travel for all of the above).

Everything you find here in my shop is handmade by me. From bag design, to cutting and sewing, to product photography, I am a one-woman operation (with some shipping help from my husband and my mom when I am away on climbing trips!). Returns and exchanges

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
If you do not like your purchase for any reason, no problem! Returns should be made within 14 days of receipt of merchandise. Shipping cost to return the item is the responsibility of the buyer and a refund of the purchase price (minus original shipping charges) will be made promptly once the item has been received by me, provided the item remains in its original, unused condition.
You can cancel your order anytime before I mail it out (which I sometimes do within an hour of ordering, so don't take too long to decide). If you wish to cancel after I have mailed the package you'll have to go through the normal returns process and the shipping cost will not be refundable.
Shipping
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
Please note that some countries may charge customs fees, duties, and/or taxes on items being imported from a foreign country. These fees are not included in the price of the item or the shipping cost and are the responsibility of the buyer to pay.

I ship packages out as quickly as possible, but I cannot guarantee arrival of packages by a certain date (by a holiday, for example). Packages marked as "delivered" in their tracking will be considered so. If you were tracking a package that is marked "delivered" but you have not received it, please contact your local post office and/or speak to your delivering postal worker to track down the package.

If your package is still in transit (has not been marked "delivered") but seems to be caught up somewhere, I will be happy to help with tracking or to answer questions.
Additional policies and FAQs
Examples of custom orders I accept are size changes, added zippers or pockets, and special fabric requests. I do not have an embroidery machine, or the ability to custom-print fabric, so I cannot accommodate requests to add a name, for example, or to print a company logo to be placed on a chalk bag.
