5 out of 5 starsThis black slip is perfectly made and is just exactly what I was looking for. Fits just right and works beautifully as an extender under my black dress that was a little too short. It arrived in perfect condition, well packaged, and very quickly. Thank you. Susan

5 out of 5 starsFits nicely, unique neck line straight across right at armpit line. Lace is a lovely touch. Lightweight but could still be worn on its own under a kimono, etc

5 out of 5 starsI LOVE this perfect slip extender. I already have one in navy. Wear it w/ navy capris, jeans, and under a navy dress I own. Looks great. V well-made. And great adjustable strap, that are the ideal width.

5 out of 5 starsThis is brilliant - so hard to find a long tank to go under sheer blouses. This one is pretty and perfect.

Just moved to this beautiful new studio space in sunny Los Angeles!
Affordable Layering Basics Made in Los Angeles
Hi! I'm Kris. I created “kolouri” in 2009, when my son was two. The name is nothing more than a quirky play on the old English spelling of color. Plus, it starts with the first letter of my name. I’ve always been partial to Ks. These days, I’m living and designing in a loft space in downtown Los Angeles with my big dog and my son.
Right now, my focus is on comfortable and easy-to-wear pieces designed to go with clothes you already own. Dress extender slips are great for adding length and opacity to dresses that are just a bit too short. Leggings are perfect for pairing with cardigans or adding warmth under a skirt.
Most of my fabric is all responsibly sourced from local Los Angeles wholesale vendors selling designer overstock fabric. This keeps my costs way down, and I can pass the savings right on to you. Using factory overstock is also great for the environment and helps keep local families in business. Some of the more popular designs that I can't find in overstock stores I get custom knit just for my shop. It's all knit and dyed in Los Angeles. I'm 100% committed to supporting my local economy.
I design and work out of a 2000 square foot space in the heart of the Los Angeles Fashion District. I have industrial machines and cutting tables as well as a large plotter for printing patterns. It's super fun, and I'm happy and grateful to be able to do what I love most everyday. I usually have a seamstress or two helping me out when I get busy.
There is sometimes a wait time on orders since most items are made to order. Keeping my inventory low is another way I can keep costs down while being able to offer customization at no additional charge. Fabrics are all in stock, but most sewn items are not. Items that are ready to ship are noted in the descriptions and will ship same or next day.
100% made by myself and a small team in Los Angeles!
Thank you for supporting small business!
