Love this earrings, they're so cute! She provided me updates & even refunded some of the cost of shipping, because it was cheaper than she thought. Will definitely shop here again, thank you! :)

My journey as a jeweller (so far)
Hi I'm Kriket, jewellery designer, ceramicist and Mum to an energetic and enthusiastic little boy. I have been collecting and creating ever since I was tiny myself and this lifelong passion for making has taught me to be resourceful and has fostered a sharp eye for detail, resulting in a unique design style.
All these years later I have put those creative skills to use as a silversmith designing and creating jewellery which features my totally unique, hand crafted faience beads as well as beautiful sea glass that I find on adventures to beaches all over the world.
My passion for my craft was initially sparked over 10 years ago when my ceramicist Mum gave me some old bead recipes based on the 5000 yr old Ancient Egyptian technique of faience. Essentially faience is a type of ceramic base that is only once fired in the kiln and is made up of raw ceramic ingredients such as silica, clay and colouring oxides. There were some gaps missing in Mum's original recipes however, and so I spent a few good years just trialling new recipes, raw materials, blends & oxides until I developed opulent glossy beads in a range of unique colours that I felt I could truly call my own. As a result of all those years of trials the surface of my beads are shiny and glossy and the colours rich and pure.
Most of this developmental time was spent in the Uk, where after a few years, I moved my practice into a little shop which doubled as a gallery and studio. Managing my business taught me so much and I loved the challenge of developing new seasonal collections as well as helping customers find the perfect piece of jewellery.
My other passion is beach combing and one day whilst scouring the coastline of Anglesey on Wales, I discovered sea glass for the very first time. Like a magpie I collected as many little, perfect jewel like pieces as I could; I just couldn’t bear to leave these treasures on the beach! My hordes of sea glass sat in trays and bottles all over our house until eventually I began incorporating these perfect nuggets of glass into my designs. I now have sea glass collections from Seaham in North East England, Barcelona, France, Italy and Anglesey.
Eventually the sunshine and warmth of Australia began to seep back into our minds and our hearts and in November 2015 we made the massive decision to sell my business, leave jobs and friends and relocate back to Sydney. Our little magpie, whom thankfully loves to travel and explore as much as we do is relishing this new chapter in our lives. Whenever possible we can be found making things or beach combing for treasure, dreaming up all sorts of possibilities for our finds.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and Personalised Orders
Just contact me if you would like a custom order, I am more than happy to help. I can make commissioned pieces to your specification but may need a little more time if different materials need to be purchased. I can also fast track a special order but charges may apply if the turnaround does not fit within my work schedule.
All sizes are described in my listings, Please take the time to read them correctly & go get a ruler so that you have an accurate idea of the size I describe.
It is so easy to assume something will fit fine, only to be bitterly disapointed when it arrives & the siaze is not as you imagined.
If you want anything adjusted or made to a different size it is generally at no extra cost, just let me know at checkout or email me on email@example.com
If however you want a much longer chain than the one listed I will charge you additional materials charge, depending on the metal.
My rings are made to order & I use a standard UK ring mandrel to size my rings. You will need to go to at least 2 local jewellery shops & have your ring size measured - if they both give you the same result then you should be fine.
Depending on where you are in the world you will be told either a number from 1/2 to 12 1/2 if in the US, a letter from A-B if in the UK & a number from 38-69 if you are in Europe.
It is imperative I get your ring size correct so if I am at all confused I will convo you to double check your size.
Sizing by using a piece of string or tape is NOT an accurate way to measure your ring size. Take it from me, my boyfriend tried to do it this way when I was sleeping (for THAT surprise ring) & it went terribly wrong!
Gift Wrapping & Packaging
I have gone to a great deal of effort to produce beautiful, unique jewellery & I want to deliver it to you beautifully packaged, ready to give as a gift or to open yourself.
All my jewellery either comes wrapped in a special little pillow packet or a specifically designed jewellery box.
I am more than happy to add a note if you would like the jewellery to be sent as a gift to an alternate address than your own. Please make sure you email me as soon as possible with the name, address & message you would like sent with the parcel. I aim to send parcels out as soon as funds are cleared, usually in 1-3 days of purchase.
Postage & Delivery
All jewellery sent within Australia includes insurance & is sent via Auspost Standard Delivery (2-4 days) & requires a signature upon delivery. Make sure you have it sent to an address where it can be signed for or allow time to collect it from the post office.
This service is $5.50 & includes up to 2 items of jewellery :)
If you do not want your parcel sent in this manner then convo me with your details & I will arrange postage without a signature.
