Absolutely spectacular! I am having a mixed Sindhi/Bengali wedding in Los Angeles, and wanted to find a mukut to wear, to honor my Bengali grandfather's traditions. When I was in India, shopping for my wedding clothes and accessories, I could not find one that would have survived the journey, and I could not go to Kolkata. Etsy to the rescue! Krishna was wonderful; easy to communicate with and very understanding of my needs and timeframe. The mukut is gorgeous and arrived long before I need it, so I am very grateful. Thank you, so so so much.

Shop policies

Welcome to my shop. I enjoy working with my customers and try my best to give them the best I can - each and every time. I crave to see my customers happy with what I make for them - and that's reflected in the feedback I usually receive from them. :) I pay attention to details - that's my style, coming from my Indian heritage.

For the benefit of my customers, I have tried to outline my shop policies here:

TIMELINE FOR CUSTOM ORDER ITEMS: Kindly allow 3 weeks of turnaround time (unless stated otherwise) for made-to-order items since these items will be handcrafted from scratch. I can make them sooner if needed. However, orders with less than 7 days prep time will be treated as 'rush order' as outlined in the payment policy (next section below).

Payment
My preferred method of payment is through direct checkout or through PayPal.
I do not accept personal checks directly. You may pay with E-checks through PayPal.

For custom orders I request 50% down at the start. Rest of the payment is due after the item is completed. I will not ship any item until the full payment is received. For 'Rush' orders I will request full payment at the start.

RUSH ORDER POLICIES:
Unless otherwise stated, I can accept a 6 to 7-day rush order (6 to 7 days to make the item) with additional 30% of the listed price. A 4 to 5-day rush order (4 to 5 days to make the item) will cost 50% more than the listed price. And, a rush order of 2 to 3 days will be double the listed price. Expedited shipping can be ordered with rush order with additional shipping cost. Please note that international shipping will take much longer to most countries. Convo me (Krishna) if you need to place a rush order.

DRAFT REQUESTS:
For custom orders, if you are requesting to see a drawing or a draft of the proposed item, there will be a $25.00 charge for the draft. This fee is non-refundable. If you place the order with me then this fee will be applied towards your order.
Shipping
DOMESTIC SHIPPING WITHIN USA: Shipping is by USPS 'Priority' mailing in most cases. In a few cases it will be by First Class USPS mail. Express Mail (overnight) shipping will be done at buyer's request with additional shipping cost.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International shipping will be done by First Class International mail whenever appropriate - it does not give any tracking number. If you want tracking number then Priority mail international shipping is recommended. Priority mail international shipping will be done at buyer's request with additional shipping cost. Rush orders will be shipped by Priority Mail International shipping at buyer's expense.
Refunds and Exchanges
EXCHANGES: I will replace the piece if it arrives completely broken in transit (see the 'Additional information' section below if your item arrives damaged). Exchanges are possible for the ready-made items only with a $25.00 handling fee on top of the shipping cost involved. No exchanges are available for custom-made items.

REFUNDS: 'Custom order' and 'made to order' items are CREATED AND COMPLETED TO CUSTOMER SPECIFICATIONS and THEY ARE SHIPPED AFTER CUSTOMER'S APPROVAL BY PHOTO REVIEWS. If you are not satisfied when you see it in person then you may return it and get a refund of 75% of the item price back upon return of the item in the condition I sent it. I will keep 25% for my effort and time to make your custom item to your specifications. Shipping cost is non-refundable once I send the item to you.
In a situation - while making your custom-request item, for whatever reason you are not satisfied with the item looking at the photos, I will keep 15% (for my effort and time) of the cost from your advance deposit and I will refund the rest.

Ready-made items from my shop can be returned within 2 weeks with a 100% price refund provided that you send it to me undamaged. Again, shipping cost is non-refundable once I ship it to you.

No refunds or exchanges are entertained after 2 weeks of receiving the item.
Additional policies and FAQs
Most of my items are made of clay - so there may be occasional damage during transportation. They should not break easily because I pack them very well. However, if damage happens, here I have outlined my policies:

1) if the figurines are detached from the base - you should be able to glue them back with any good glue.

2) If any appendage breaks - quite often you can glue them back.

3) If they are not glue-able - then I would need to see the picture and I may be able to suggest any remedy. If not then I will need the piece back to me (at your expense). After I receive the piece I will either fix it or make a new one - that will be free of cost to you, and I will only request the shipping cost from you.
