Announcement   Thanks for stopping by! Everything you see here is tried and true--many of the outfits inspired by my own kids' preferences and obsessions. I make a lot of my kids' clothes, and together we figure out what we love. Special instructions on clothes in the shop at any given time: wear, love, wash, repeat.

Anything here can be made in just about any child's or tween size (whether or not the size you are looking for is an option in the listing). And any outfit you see can be made in other prints or color schemes. I happily accept custom orders, so please let me know if there's something specific on your wish list. What's in my shop is just a sampling of what I make.

Stellar creator and business-woman! Contacted Kristen a few weeks before the December holiday and she came through on every account!! She created a Star Wars themed cape for each of my kids, to their measurements, and had me proof them before shipping with time to spare. The final product was great quality and a sturdy cotton material. The design was just what I had sent her...she really did a nice job. This is the second time I have ordered from her and I will order again and again. Thanks, Kristen!

About

I never knew I'd love sewing so much.

When I was given a handmade dress for my 2-year-old daughter several years ago, I was immediately taken with how cute and unique it was--and with the idea that I could make an outfit for her myself. I had basic sewing knowledge, a very simple sewing machine I hadn't touched in several years, a bit of creativity, and just the right amount of confidence. So I found a pattern I thought I could muddle my way through and bought some fabric. Turns out that the whole process of making a dress was so satisfying that I made another one that same week. I made her wear those two dresses all summer because I loved seeing her wear them and I liked them so much.

I didn't stop with those two dresses! Sewing gave me energy when the happy chaos of being home with three toddlers wore me out. With some encouragement from friends I set up a shop on Etsy a few months later and never looked back. Now my kids are 8, 6, and 5. There's still plenty of happy chaos here, though I have more time and more energy to put into sewing. My husband has encouraged my "hobby" every step of the way and is happy to do post office runs for me on the way to work. He is a police officer who works nights, so I have many evenings to myself to play. What started as a hobby became a passion, and I'm thrilled that I get to share my gift with others.

I am a stay-at-home mom to three active kids. My boys wear the same thing for days on end. My daughter often changes clothes several times a day, so I make clothes with them in mind. Easy wear, easy care!

I've seen shops where people say, "I made this with all the care I'd make for my own kids" and it makes me laugh. My kids are the guinea pigs for the things I make. I learn on their clothes! So the clothes I sell are made with a whole lot MORE care than what I make for my family!

Payment
If I'm creating a custom order for you, I'll figure a price based on our conversation. Full payment is due before I purchase any materials or begin making custom items.
Shipping
In most circumstances I ship items via First Class mail. However, I do ship Priority Mail and Priority Express if a must-have date is looming and I need to expedite shipping. I always provide a tracking number and do my part to get orders in the mail in time to meet must-have dates. But I can't guarantee what happens when the post office takes over. Unfortunately delays do happen.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want your kids to be able to wear what you buy for them! I put extra care into items I make, but if you aren't satisfied with your purchase or it doesn't fit please, please, please let me know so I can fix it!
Additional policies and FAQs
I gladly make custom orders. Please let me know what is on your wish list and I'll let you know if I'm up for the challenge! My turnaround time is generally 3 weeks. Orders needed sooner than 3 weeks out may be subject to a rush charge.
I love answering your questions. Send me a convo if you need clarification on anything.
