My husband was laid off, and I needed to do everything I could to help my family, so I began working from home, selling knits, and tech editing and consulting.

Here, I love knitting, and getting it right. My cat-friendly office and studio is my home, and is part of my everyday life, and I am working every day. Sometimes I'm knitting with the kids, and sometimes without, and sometimes late at night, when that's the only chance I get! I find inspiration in the wonderful yarns I use, and love to see how the textures and colors unfold into a beautiful item.

I am providing my customers with the best handknits I can put out, with the best materials, every time. Not only are they warm when they need to be, and cool when they don't, but my handknits look good on, and that's what it's all about. And by knitting for others in my shop, I am giving and knitting for my family.
