Thank you so much for these OOAK handbags! Very cute item to accessorize your game day attire. Love that you included a button to secure it closed. It was so nice getting to know you through this process. Thank you again!

About

"A calm sea never made a skilled mariner." - Unknown

In 2006 I had undergone a total hip replacement, and no one could really say why my hips were deteriorating at such a young age.

In February of 2012, I was finally diagnosed with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I found out at the that time that my hips weren't the only parts of my body affected. The joints in my hands and wrists had begun to succumb to the disease. Thankfully none of my organs have been involved up to this point.

It was after this diagnosis that I was in a really dark place. That's when I remembered that I needed to fight this disease no matter what. It was then that I decided to take my need to fight and keep my hands moving and combine it with my love for fashion and sewing.

It dawned on me that purses are fabulous because no matter your age, height, weight or disability you can always be in style and enjoy really cute and chic handbags. I decided to start hand-making purses to fight my RA and raise money to cover my ever increasing medical bills.

I'm thankful to all of my friends, family and future customers for their support!

Right now I'm working out of my small dining room, but I hope to move into the guest room soon and have a real studio!

After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I had to re-invent my life, and I needed an outlet for my creativity - so my Etsy store was born. I love making purses because no matter your age, weight or disability a great handbag ALWAYS fits!

I do not accept payments via COD or cash. I do not accept partial payments for orders, except for deposit items as specified.

Shipping
Shipping via USPS. For special requests or expedited shipping, please contact me.

All items are shipped via USPS with delivery confirmation and insurance. I'm sorry, but I can not be responsible for lost, damaged or returned packages. If your package is lost or damaged, please file an insurance claim with the USPS.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please understand that due to the small amount of profit I make on each item, I must have specific return policies. I make items for you because I enjoy it, not because I am looking to get rich. I operate my store on a very thin profit margin, and any profit made wouldn't cover labor by anyone other than myself.

All items are handmade just for you at the time of purchase, and therefore will vary slightly from the sample shown in the photo. All monitors display colors differently. Refunds will not be issued based on variations in color or small differences in style (i.e. bow seems bigger/smaller, band is lower/higher, item is slightly smaller/bigger than described)

IN-STOCK ITEMS

If you are unhappy with an in-stock item, the cost of the item will be refunded within 3 days of receipt. There are no refunds for shipping charges. Buyer pays return shipping. Item must be returned in same condition or no refund will be given. If an item is offered with free shipping a refund will be given for the purchase price minus shipping costs and all applicable fees incurred to me by Etsy.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom orders are defined as orders that require special order fabric that must be shipped from the manufacturer or supplier. Once work has begun on a custom item(s), that item(s) is no longer eligible for a refund.

A NOTE ABOUT ITEM CONDITION

Items returned for refund must be in brand new condition -- unworn (except to try on), unwashed, and unused - no exceptions. Any items that are received in less than new condition will not be returned to stock and the return/exchange will not be processed. Less than new condition includes but is not limited to: items that have been worn or are dirty, items that have animal or human hair, items that do not smell new, items that have been laundered.

Cancellation Policy

I cannot guarantee that your order can be canceled before the materials have been ordered or work has begun. I try my best to cancel orders upon request, however, I cannot guarantee that an order can be canceled. All canceled orders will be refunded via your original payment method, minus any listing or sale fees incurred by me from Etsy.

Custom orders welcome.

For custom orders, I order fabric from my suppliers on Mondays and Thursdays - this allows me to combine shipping and keep my prices low. If you require your item before the typical turn-around time, please contact me to make arrangements for expedited shipping from the supplier at an additional cost.
