Kristopia is my Utopia, Where I go in my Imagination to Create

From a very young age, I wanted to be an artist. No, I wanted to be a teacher. No wait, a craftsperson. No, I wanted to be a novelist...or a wino, or both. But wait, I wanted to be...okay, I wanted to be all of these things (except the wino, but that came naturally). Today, I AM all of these things. After years of working in education and social work, I am now a full time artist. I teach art, I write novels (and art tutorials), and I work in multiple media (my distractible nature likes the freedom to switch things up).

I have wanted to be a full time artist for many years, but a year of illnesses that tried to attack my lungs, and then Covid-19, I decided that the time to enter the art world full time was not in some nebulous future anymore. It's now. I hope you art lovers enjoy the variety and the movement in the pieces I have for sale here. Each piece is my original art unless otherwise specified (I may sell limited art prints of certain pieces).

Thanks so much to those who support and enjoy my art!

I have been an artist since I could pick up a pencil, but after years of teaching and social work, I am now a full time artist. I work in multiple mediums so you might find acrylic paintings, pastels, colored pencil work, and more here.

Returns & exchanges

See item details for return and exchange eligibility.

I allow 24 hours for paypal/credit card purchases. If payment is not received within the above guidelines, and I haven't received any convo/e-mail the item will be relisted.

I ship with the USPS by either Priority Mail or First Class within 48 hours after payment is received, but I try to ship ASAP. Please note, I can do International Shipping, but please convo/e-mail me first. I will get a shipping quote ASAP, as I like to get a quote from the post office to prevent expensive mistakes, as well as overcharging.

For International Shipping, I am unable to get a Delivery Confirmation and insurance is often cost prohibitive so it will not be included unless otherwise stated. It can take up to two months to receive a package if shipped internationally. I am not responsible for custom fees.

On certain items insurance is required, and has been added to the shipping price. All items, except international, will be shipped with a Delivery Confirmation.

Due to the lack of a shipping calculator the charges will not be exact. Any amount over $1.00 will be refunded to the purchaser, any amount under $1.00 will not. I will combine items to save on shipping charges. Please be assured I do not profit from the shipping charges.

Since I sell original artwork and one-of-a-kind items, I pack the items very carefully and by the time I pay for boxes and packing supplies it can be cost prohibitive. I do recycle boxes and packing supplies that are in quality condition.

Additional policies and FAQs

For custom commissions, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Custom artwork, including both stone painting and pencil portraits take about a month to a month and a half, depending on the season and backorders from other customers.

The balance of your payment is due when the item is completed. I will send e-mail photos of the commissioned artwork for your perusal. Once approved, I will send within 48 hours of the final 50% remaining payment.
