I love the color combinations! I have so many wrap bracelets. They fit my small wrists. Quality merchandise, reasonable price and fast shipping. Would recommend it.

About

Although I have been making jewelry since I was a child, in early 2011 I finally opened my Etsy shop with the advice from a fellow crafter/co-worker. I found a love of making memory wire bracelets and using wire/eye pins to chain beads together. These are just some of my favorite techniques in the wide world of jewelry making.

My shop's name actually came from a combination of several of my interests. I wanted my shop's name to combine something sparkly like a jewel with a country style. The Dusty Jewel's name actually came about one evening when there was a break at my local racetrack, and I was thinking about what I wanted to make with some new beads I had gotten earlier that day. Some people may think that is odd, getting an idea for jewelry from a dirty race track, but even though I can be a girly girl, I am not afraid to get dirty. When thinking of a name for my Etsy shop I began thinking about my jewelry and aesthetic; I love the juxtaposition of a hard material such as metal wire and a soft one like a pearl or glass bead.

I don't have a true craft room where all my creations are made but a small part of a room to make my jewels. Usually I just find a comfy chair and just start beading with the hopes of something fabulous coming from it. Also, over the years I have created many of my pieces at racetracks too!

Let me tell you about my background, I graduated with a degree in interior design. Currently I am working as a design assistant but in the past I have also worked in custom framing. I am very lucky that my job lets me use my creativity which is where some of my dreams are.

Feel free to send a message to chat or discuss future projects!
